Radford said if everything continues to check out well, the robot may be able to take on a few mundane chores — like taking air velocity measurements inside the space station — early next year.

That's probably the plan. I don't know though. I really think it could have been the race tires putting a lot of stress on something that hasn't been run in 8 months. I'm gonna drive the car around and see if anything changes.
