shouldn't you be mowing the grass?
I would, but it makes me sick. Plus I think my dad likes doing it.

Enjoy your time off Scott!

Been peeling wallpaper since 6. I'm ready to murder the idiot that invented the stuff. Too bad they're probably already dead.

If its anything like what happens around here after mowing, I know he likes it. And so does your mom. Hows that for a mental image?

That is a sucky job. Do you have a wallpaper steamer? It does make the job a lil bit easier.

No steamer. Didn't think I'd need something like that for one wall.

Do you at least have one of those little "turtles" that scores the wallpaper? That helps too. Almost every room in my house had wallpaper when I bought it. My son's room was the worst. It had really wallpaper on the bottom, a border in the middle, wallpaper at the top, and a border at the very top of the walls too.....on all 4 walls

Desperate to drink, West Texas turns to wastewater

By Ed Lavandera, CNN Correspondent
August 10, 2011 6:00 a.m. EDT

Big Spring, Texas (CNN) -- Desperate times call for a tall, cool glass of creativity in this patch of West Texas where water is scarce and quickly disappearing.

But a plan to pump millions of new gallons of drinking water into the system has many people across West Texas holding their noses.

This week construction started on a $13 million water-reclamation facility. That's a fancy way of describing a treatment plant that will turn sewage wastewater into drinking water.

http://www.cnn.com/2011/US/08/10/tex...rate.to.drink/
"I see a lot of humor in it," Grant told CNN. "There was a fella over in Midland that I heard made the comment that at least he gets to drink his beer twice now."

Nope. A good deal of it was peeling anyways, but I still ended up scraping a good deal of it off by hand. Got the blisters and cuts under my finger nails to prove it.

Look at the wall closely and run your hand over it to make sure you scraped all the glue off. Otherwise when you paint the wall, you'll see it and won't have a smooth surface.....learned that the hard way

Downloaded the new Black Stone Cherry album. Wasn't a real fan before but they really stepped up their game. Good stuff.

I think I got most of it off. I've primed it already it's only the garage, so I'm not too worried about it.
