Speaking of which, I talked to my sister in St. Louis last night - she lives only a few townships/miles from the EF-4 that hit the airport. Said she didn't hear a thing. Didn't know until later on the news. lol

Yeah at first they said EF2, but later checked the wind speeds and said there were 2. The EF4 was just to the west of the airport at Bridgeton (the most residential damage), and the EF2 hit the airport.

Another one says its the same tornado but intensified along the path, then winds slowed a bit when it got to the airport.

Did you see the vids from the security cams at the airport?

Wow, those people made it into the bathroom right on time! Would have been cool to hear what they were saying. All I can say is this is going to be a very interesting summer here. Especially after last summer. MN had the highest number of reported tornadoes of any of the states (not sure if Texas passed it back up later in the year or not).

On April 14, 1886 (4PM) the deadliest tornado in Minnesota history razed parts of St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids, leaving 72 dead and 213 injured. 11 members of a wedding party were killed including the bride and groom.

Yes it sucks, but you've got to pay to play I guess. Put some in the Shelby Saturday, $3.99 for 93. It doesn't help any that so far it has averaged just over 15 mpg in 500 miles. I can't keep my foot out of it, the sounds, the acceleration, the giddy euphoric feeling it gives me is just too much to resist. That loud pedal is extremely addictive in this car.

$4.13 for only 92 here. Really want to try my 93 race tune this summer, but I have a feeling it won't happen.

Ya, I know we're definitely not the highest in the country. I miss last fall when I could get 92 for $3.03.

I miss when I was your age and gas prices only had 2 digits with a decimal in front of them.

All I can say is I wish I owned an oil well.

Folks here who live on land where they are now drilling shale oil are signing leases for $2,500 an acre! That's not even counting the 20% royalties for the oil.

There's millionaires being made every day around these parts.

Just not me.

Heck I remember when I was in high school I could buy gas for $0.98/gallon. I could fill my Firebird for about $15.

And that was only 11 years ago.
