See I dig the new Explorer! Which does put the Edge odd man out IMO. I can understand sticking with the Edge if I don't need the towing, but I bet the mileage is too close to dicker about. [lol] So might as well get the Explorer.

As to the Flex, cain't do it man... Gets me feelin' too Elementary

or like way too much Hampster Rapsters!

Although I do dig the drummer! Yeeeeahhh

I prefer the Explorer over the Edge or Flex.

I can understand the Edge as i see a lot of ladies drive them. But i would think the Escape, Explorer, and Expidition fill the SUV markets and the Edge hits the crossover segment. The Flex seems to be a niche vehicle. They are so pricey they must be profitable vehicles and that's why Ford makes them.

I'd take a Magnum SRT over a Flex.

My mom has a 2003 Expidition and I'm hoping to get her to test drive an Explorer as I think it would be a much better fit for her at 70 years old.

I like to see a customized Flex done up in the style of a 50's-60's era woodie surf wagon.

Love the Magnum SRT8, now we just have to get Chrysler to build it again and give it the Charger front clip

Speaking of Fords I almost got the Raptor stuck today.

It's rained a lot here but has stopped over the past 3 days. I went to the new house as we were starting to bring in fill dirt for the driveway. I drove to the back of the house and I was staying on the grass and out of the water. Well the ground there was softer than I thought. I was parked and I was looking from the truck at the back of the house for just a minute or two. Then I put it in D and give it gas and it won't move. I'm like WTF! I open the door and the truck had sunk to the wheels without me even realizing it. So I thow it in 4H and give it some gas and nothing. So I put it in N and switch to 4L and it tries to move but it's starting to dig down.

I'm thinking this could be embarrassing. So I rock it a couple of times and en haul *** out of there. Mud was flying everywhere! I think I finally popped El Diablo's cherry.

If I ever wear out these tires I'm getting mud tires. These things may be great in the sand, but not so much in this black mud.

News gabbin' in the background.

Obama tells Chinese Press in attendance "We want to sell you... this and we want to sell you... that".

What a freakin' educated moron. Nobody wants to be "sold" anything!

That's why we need business people - not professional students!!

"We would like to provide you with.... " would be on the path of anyone that new anything about sales - and human nature!

Yeah when I was 20 and first got my Land Cruiser, I was on level ground on a trail in the woods down near the Missouri River bottoms. They call it "gumbo bottoms" for a reason. lol

Got high centered in the mud on level ground and a guy with a Jeep and winch had to pull me out.

You would be surprised. The new Explorer is deceiving on pics, seeing in person seems almost as big and high as the Expedition.
