Ive often wondered that myself. After a heavy snow, esp. early in the year when there's no buildup on the sides from previous plows, how does the driver know where the road is? GPS maybe?

GPS's get you lost. They prolly have someone that knows the road really good or they might start plowing it when it only has a few inches on the ground that way they can still see where to plow.

This pic was just on the news tonight. They were trying to figure out if it was real or not, but were leaning towards real.

A friend of mine says it's real. The company she works for is Japanese and one of the employees there said there are roads like that in Japan.

I did a you tube search and found this...

Poor kid. Imagine what he's going to get at school after all his friends see that.

Finally getting a good snow storm here. About 9" so far with lightening and thunder snow. It is absolutely miserable trying to drive. I hate whiteout conditions

All I know is Jill sure mentions 9" every chance she gets.

And they try to tell us size doesn't matter.

Well it didn't take a front end or side impact so it probably wouldn't set them off.

Now this will set off an airbag.
