Ok so i started trying to diagnose my battery drain on Seven.
I separated the positive battery cable from the post and then touched the leads from the multimeter while it was set on dc V mA and I got a reading of 450 mA or .45 amps.
Now i performed this test after the car had been at rest for more than an hour so everything should have been shut off or in it's lowest usage mode.
Now I don't know the number I should be looking for for a stock 07 Mustang at rest. The Internet says for a car in general I should be looking for about 50 mA or .05 amps.
Now after this I pulled every fuse and relay one at a time and cheked the readings. After every single one it still read the same. I then disconnected the wire to the power distribution box at the box and the reading went to 160 mA, or 0.16 amps.
Not sure what that is about. Some items like the passenger area fuse box use multiple fuses in the power distribution box so maybe I didn't cut power to it completely when I pulled one at a time. Not sure about that though.
I did check the large wire I have going to the amplifiers in the back of the car and it read .01 when connected to the battery so that is good. Same with the alternator wire. I still need to check the starter wire and that wire to the power dist. box.
Not sure where I am at this point but I know it's not my unused shaker amps or my hid add on lights.

I'll root for the home team, but i'm not a football fan. Totally clueless on how the game is played. I know the ball has to get to the end of the field. Downs, ups, first in 10, last in 20, goals in inches, ...
The only time I watch is for the Superbowl and that's usually just for the commercials, or if the Pats are in it.

Lol! Hopefully the Jets will take the Pats out. And of course the best game of the weekend starts in about 3 hours On my home from work yesterday I passed the team bus with police escorts on the way to the airport and there was a black Mercedes next to me that looked a lot like Brian Billick driving. And I'm wearing my lucky Ray Rice jersey today.
Dream on, woman!
