Earthquakes and tornadoes get me nervous. More so the tornadoes. We had a big one here in 1953. My mother was in it.

I'm not a fan of either of them. In my area in the last 2 years:

July 2009 tornado (F1 luckily it was small) touched down on the street next to mine. That was way too close for comfort.

July 2010 3.6 magnitude earthquake about 30 miles from where I live.

Hopefully there won't be anything in July 2011

Rumor has it Oprah was in Puerto Rico today.

She couldn't reach the Oreos on the top shelf in her hotel suite and was jumping up and down trying to reach them.

Coincidence?
