Ugh, so sick of all the black friday commercials. No way in hell I'm going to target at 4am to buy some piece of junk imported from china. There's people at my sister's job that have to come into work at 2:30am! Lucky for her she doesn't have to come in til 6am.

Obviously, we've been doing it wrong.
That depends on a lot of different factors. Part of it is how good is your insurance, and whether or not any medical complications arise for mother or baby. In our case we had good insurance and there were no complications, and total out of pocket costs for the deliveries were under $100 each IIRC.
We didn't go crazy like a lot of people do with buying all new furniture, buying all new clothes that they will grow out of quickly and spit up on and poop on, our biggest expense was diapers. Our lifestyle didn't change much when we had our two kids, and they have done fine (now ages 6 and 7. IMHO having been there and done that, outside of unforseen medical complications/bad insurance, kids being expensive is a choice, not a necessity.

Kids aren't expensive. In fact they can make you more than they cost. Just put them to work early. Heck before long you'll be buying 2 or 3 more Mustangs while the little boogers learn the lessons of hard work and respecting their father.

Well I've always heard kids cost a lot.
But I don't know for sure cause personally, I just never wanted to have to be an adult 24/7 for 20 or more years. Just never could buy out that much time and effort and continuous responsibility.

A little earlier the 3 year old refused to take her shoes off for bed. There was no getting those shoes off easily. There was a lot of screaming, yelling, hitting, and kicking...and she was doing the same.
But seriously. She's asleep. Wearing those **** dirty shoes. Parent fail!
