You know I'm probably one of the biggest Ford fanbois around, and I absolutely love the current line up pretty much in its entirety. The ad campaigns over the last couple of years have been fantastic, from Mike Rowe, to the '11 v-6 commercial that makes me stop what I'm doing to watch it. Well, they have finally screwed the pooch on one.
How did they go from this one that captivates me, the music, the scenery, the editing, the cinematography, the color combos of the cars all just mesh together perfectly....

that grates on my nerves so bad that I often turn the channel while its on, then turn it back to keep watching the show.
How has the marketing department done a complete 180 on these 2 ads? I know its two different customer bases for the cars, but how do you do something that can polarize one person so badly (even a diehard Ford man)?
Am I the only one?

I completely agree on the 2011 V6 Mustang commercial. Even my wife and kids stop and watch it. It gives me goosebumps. That car looks like sex. It is beyond well done. Never knew a v6 commercial could be so cool. That's gotta help with sales.

I don't think either commercial is all that great. I'm still not all the fond of the new design. Plus nothing will ever compare with the anthem one from '05 imo. The fiesta one does make me want to jump out of my window though. Looks like fun.
