Motoblur is a social media thing. puts your facebook, twitter, and whatever for each person together instead of having to go to each app.
Icons can be changed for the apps without rooting. there is a program to do it. can't think of the name of it off hand.

I've been looking, but I haven't been able to find anything. Also, do you know how to keep your bookmarks from automatically refreshing when you open them?

Program is called Better Cut. You an also download Icon Packs to get icons you want.
If you root, there are themes which change the look of the phone too. One of the roms even lets you store your apps on the SD Card instead of on the phone!

I rarely use the browser so I didn't know they refresh. I've never seen that happen when I have used it.

Thanks, I'll look for it! Isn't 2.2 supposed to let you move the apps to the SD? I thought I read that somewhere. I really want the ability to have my apps update automatically. Probably my number one complaint.

Yeah, it's supposed to do an auto update. I like that since updating 15 at a time is a pain, and some apps update every day!
I'm not sure about the SD storage. I heard about it but at the time is wasn't definate that it was going in the release.

I'll have to expirment and see what happens. This new ROM i'm running now makes the phone run fast! I like it.
Funny thing yesterday I was at this dinner my old job has once a year for us old timers. Twice for no reason the phone started playing music. Had no idea where it came from and the only was to stop it was to try and shut the phone off. Did it twice, once was while it was quiet and the company president was giving a little speech! hehehe

I have no idea what caused it. I had just switched roms, so maybe something went haywire. I just wiped the phone today, went back to 2.0 and installed the rom from scratch. So far it's okay.
Found another neat program called foursquare. You can go places and flag where you are and it posts on facebook and twitter letting others know where you are. You'll see it posted on my facebook page now.

Found this on AM. 
At least now I know what hood pins would look like on the notch. I was thinking of getting some since the hood is really shaky, but I don't want to be able to see them.
