Was supposed to be warm and sunny today. Couldn't be more wrong. Super dark with rain, wind, and lighting.

Congrats Jill! Android 2.2 is supposedly coming out soon, so we're supposed to get wifi hot spot/tethering, flash 10, and a few other things.

What sucks for me is I can't use it until it gets rooted. I think I can already do wifi tethering anyway. I haven't attempted it yet. Not sure if it's in this ROM i'm using or another one. Verizon don't want it you using it anyway so right now you gotta be careful not to get caught. It's an option they want to charge you for. We'll see what happens when the release comes out.
Jill - If you want Swype after watching that video, let me know and i'll give you a link to grab it from my server.

There's actually a couple not-root apps for tethering out right now. (easy tether and PDAnet) I tried them, and they both worked. Haven't really used them other than that though. I actually forwarded Jill the PM you sent me for swype. I hope that's ok.

There are a couple new phone going through FCC approval. Something called the Shadow is one and a Droid 2. Not much info, but the Shadow could be the Droid 2. It's also been said that they are the same, but one is without a keyboard. This rendering has been floating around. Real or not, nobody knows yet.

It's kinda ugly. No white for me please. But I'd kill for 720p video and an HDMI port. 
I would have traded my droid in for the incredible, but it didn't have the 720p like it was rumored to. 
I love my droid though. It's way better than my broken env2.

Freakin' freeloading family members. Haven't heard from them since Christmas and they only live 15 minutes away. And thanks to the wonderful family grapevine, the first Saturday after I get the pool open they call "Hey!!, we've missed y'all, were gonna stop by in a little while to see how you guys are doing!" Of course they and all of their kids just conveniently happen to have their swim suits in the car, and haven't eaten lunch yet. The mother****ers are nowhere to be found when I need help putting the cover on it and winterizing it in the fall, or taking it off and opening it up and cleaning it in the spring.
