I like my cvr kickers. But mine are 10's and my amp is way bigger.
That's a decent amp, but it's kind of little. Even though that's a kicker sub, it's gonna be tough for it to push it well. It's a shame that amp isn't the next bigger model.
As far as price, that amp can be had for just over $100 new, and those subs can be routinely bought for $80-$100 and that's buy one get one free.

I will buy Jack Stands!!!
I don't wanna break the bank, and just want the low end better than a Mach 460 system. I think the 400 watts RMS from the amp to the sub will do that. I have modest aiming points. Think it'll do that? I'm also not trying to overwhelm my door speakers and 6x9s, want it balanced

I realize you don't have money to burn, I was just giving advice so that you don't buy something, blow it, and then wish you had gotten something else. Decibles are like horsepower, it's easy to want more.

LOL, I think I'd still take the toy.

Worst part of the used tires, I counted up all the expenses from those. I paid like $360 for my tires including mounting, balancing, and alignment. A brand new set woulda been $400 mounted and balanced
I didn't need the alignment, they say. The ***** still pulls a little.
Hello 2 12" kickers, and I'll save for the 1000 watt amp That's good advice, thanks guys

Just cause you have it doesn't mean you need to use it all the time. My 12" type r will bounce the rain on my windshield, but for normal listening I have it set to -5 (-15 to +15). Get something you know you'll be happy with, even if it means waiting longer. I've wasted a ton of money on speakers because I couldn't wait and settled with what I could get right away.

I've been down that road too. My K&N CAI is the perfect example. I paid $100, but then it was missing some pieces so that was another $25 or so. Now the filter is almost falling apart so I'm gonna need to buy a new one for almost $50. That's $175. A new one would have been about $200. Live and learn I guess.
