I think the Kappas are even better than the Polk MOMO's in Seven. I'd like to amplify them in the Fox and maybe get a set for Seven if I like them.

I did not amplify the speakers. the speakers are 1,000,000 times better than the dbx Polks in the Bronco running off of deck power. I put the tweeter in the lowest setting on each. I think -6 on the front components and -3 on the 5x7s in the rear. I turned it up to 26 and everything sounds good. I don't think I'll worry about amping them yet. I do need some bass though. I currently have the speakers on a high pass filter at 60hz from the deck to keep me from blowing them with sloppy bass.

Not so sure that would fit in my front doors.
Maybe I'll try these later this spring when I have some extra money. My kappas just aren't loud enough for me right now.

You know I use kenwood 3-ways in my doors. They sound good and are a lil on the cheap side. but hey I will go top of the line later on when I completely redo the whole car from inside out or outside in

Nathan-Did your Fox have door speakers? mine had never been touched. It still had the white plastic wrapper over it.
I ran new 14ga. speaker wire from the dash to the doors. Also ran them to the tweeter locations.
Where did you put the crossovers?
I put mine behind the head unit where the factory amp location would have been. It was tight but everything git in there. Then I ran the ipod cable to the ash tray and removed the metal tray. So when I want it I can lift the ash tray door and plug in. Cool thing is this Alpine cable works with my 3GS iphone. The JVC in Seven doesn't.

Web to the junk yard today, got 3 tires for 45 bucks. I didn't inspect one close enough, has cracks in the tread, so I'm going back tomorrow with my dad to exchange it and possiby another one that is gonna need a plug I think. That is, if we can get the lugs to break off of an old f150. It's got 2 good tires on the front, both stuck on cuz of 1 rusted lug. Me an my dad going back, with wd40 and a bigger cross bar tire iron. Wish me luck

Well i am going back to work. I was hired as a car salesman at the local Ford dealer...so now i will be able to drive those sweet 5.0's...
