Came across this pic of my '70, and realized just how long I've been attached to this car.....literally in this pic. Hard to believe she just turned 40.

Yeah, I did drive it. My dad used to let me sit in his lap and steer while he worked the pedals, lol. Little did he know it would cause a life long addiction. The good ol' days. You'd go to jail for child endangerment doing that now.

When I was 13 I was an accomplished driver I was driving my Godmom's son home in the 65 stang we were stopped only for a light, the officer said you look a little young to drive, I told him Jim was to goosed & we had to get home, the cop drank & the vet's club where my dad had worked & knew the name, so he said follow me i'll lead you home. wow

I remember one of my brother's girlfriends sitting me on her lap and letting me drive her Nova down a gravel road. She was probably 18 and I was 6 at the time. Really cool girl. My brother's girlfriends were always cool to me. Except for the one that he married. Oh well.

Today I stopped at a used car lot and looked at a 2001 GT and walked around the lot and way in the back they had a 1972 Mustang just sitting there rotting away. It had at least 2 flat tires and seriously needed a paint job. I think they were asking 1,995 for it.

My dad used to let us steer up and down the driveway. One time we came home and were locked out, so my sister and I just kept going up and down the driveway with him until my mom got home.

Afternoon everyone,
I snapped these shots this morning on the way into work.
I followed him most of the way in. Looked really beat up from the outside but sounded great. It had 289 badges on the fenders, but steelies with wheel covers, IDK what was under the hood. But was pretty sweet to see a 40+ year old stang on my way in this morning.

They ahve had their share, but definitely not as much as we get. But I'm NW of Balto City. OC is about 3 hours from me. We woke up yesterday morning to about 4 1/2 inches and now we are supposed to get "a significant" amount of snowfall starting tomorrow. They won't even estimate how much, they just say 12+ inches.
