I'd think it has more to do with the fact that the hard drive doesn't even start up. Video card might make sense though since it happened when I was minimizing something. All of the sudden it just froze with the page half way in the middle of the screen.

It's not the monitor. I just hooked it up to my computer and it works fine!

My LCD went dead awhile back. Thought the HD crashed. I unplugged & replugged a couple of times and no luck. Didn't feel loose and its the screw in plugs. Slammed the back of the monitor a few times (old analog trick LOL) and nothing. Tried the plugs again - at the computer and the monitor, and suddenly came on. Its worked great since. Thought it was odd to lose connection since it never moves, no cat... do the terminals get a corrosion over time and the several times of unplugging/replugging cleaned it off?

HD seems to be spinning now but there still isn't any signal being sent to the monitor...

Hooked it up to the tv via hdmi and it says unsupported video signal.

Got it to show the turn on screen then it showed some black screen with a bunch of white stuff for like two seconds then went black.

I did unplug one little thing then put it back in. Everything is still there though!!!
