So,.....I get an email from Derek at Saleen this morning asking if everything was up to satisfactory and if I was still interested in getting the Black Label car.
I pretty much let him have it and said that Saleen's customer service is horrible and a few other things. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Just wish another aftermarket company would come out with that Black Label front end, or one similar to it..............it's too good a design to just fade away due to Saleen's woes
Whilst I prefer the look of the Saleen, if it were my money I'd be getting a Roush Stage 3. A simple ebay search already brings up several for sale. If the 10-speed auto hits for the '17MY, that's be an awesome combo

This is exactly why Saleen will never get my business again even if they survive bankruptcy which I highly doubt lol.

I just got all pricing and all options available for the 2015 Stage 3. It gets pretty pricey, but not as much as a Saleen would have cost. The 2015 RS3 cars are growing on me. Plus,....there are dealerships available if you need warranty work.
I want to see what the Phase 2 and Phase 3 will bring.
Tony ! Now you know from your own personal experience that both Terry and myself were right from the very start about Saleen's horrible customer service..

I feel you on that when I was looking for a new toy a few years back I was really wanting a s281. Found one in my area for a good price but by the time I got there it was sold. 
I ended up buying a 04 Mach 1 then I was hooked on 4v motors lol. It had the slp loudmouth off-road xpipe it's sounded sooooo good

As I previously mentioned in this thread along with the other Saleen threads.. Steve Saleen has nobody else to blame but himself, as he ran his company into the ground and was then forced out by his own board of directors as a direct result..
Afterwards the company went bankrupt and was then sold to the parent company of Saleen Performance Vehicles based in Troy Michigan..
Just as SPV began turning the company back in the right direction, Steve S files a lawsuit against SPV in order to reacquire the very same company he ran into the ground because his new company that he started (SMS) couldn't compete with SPV..
So nearly 4 years later, despite reacquiring his company name back, he now finds himself facing bankruptcy once again due from the legal/attorney fees in which they still have not recovered from to this day..
With that being said ! Now you know exactly why Saleen has neither the ability nor resources to build let alone sell his S550 Black/Yellow edition Mustangs..

MJA/SPV was a new holding company formed by Mike & Joe Shields to host Saleen Inc assets in 2009. Mike later sold SPV to Revstone. Revstone went bankrupt over fraud accusations.

And just how in the hell would you know ??? First of all, you don't know me from a hole in the wall and FYI.. I purchased several of my Saleen parts from a vendor who still considers themselves to be an authorized Saleen service center and the reason why ??? I got fed up getting bounced around from one voice mail inbox to another and then had nothing to show for my efforts after leaving numerous voice messages including from someone who goes by the Lina who assured me time and time again that someone from customer service/parts dept would get back to me the next day.. Well needless to say nobody ever bothered to return any my messages which began well over a year ago..
With that being said, due to Saleen's poor customer service, they don't deserve my business to begin with and there are many of others on this site who feel the same way including 2 other members who have posted on this thread alone

Saleen many-many-years ago was well known and produced some pretty darn awesome Mustangs.
But that was a heck of a long time ago and since it went downhill it has certainly remained that way.
However, anyone that wishes to spend the approx. $80K for a New Saleen assuming you can even get one have at it.
Just do us a favor that have given you MULTIPLE WARNINGS not to do it and don't come back on here Complaining.
