Steve might have just avoided bankruptcy. Beautiful design. Still hate the fusion headlights though.

Here's when it drove up to the stage earlier that day.

I absolutely hated the renderings Saleen released a few months ago. Especially since they were going for a 10-12 look, I wanted them to move past that.

But now that it's real, I love it. It looks awesome. Especially those wheels.

That said, much like the last few Saleens, this will probably be really expensive!

Here's another shot. I might add some color in the lower front grill to break up the black. Under the hood is a Kenny Bell cranking 750 horsepower. It's going for over $65,000.

I kind of like it.
Those wheels, the rotors and the HP numbers make it for me.
Front end reminds me of the new Charger. I like the new Chargers, so that doesn't bother me one bit.

I highly doubt that ! At a starting price of 73k, you're much better off waiting for the GT350 to arrive this upcoming fall.. Even the Hellcat is much less than 73k..

And who in the their right mind is going to risk paying that kind of money to a company that more than likely isn't going to survive ? I know that I sure wouldn't take such a risk

However it is a very beautiful design, no question about that

Not cheap that's for sure, but to be one of the few to own the last of the Saleens... if they do go bankrupt, will be worth a lot in the future.

I love it, but it makes the front of the normal S550 look like a huge pickup truck grill to me now after looking at both ( same way 2011 charger grill compared to 2015 charger SRT grill)

But I have to agree, with the amazing cars coming out of the factory (gt350,hellcat) its hard for companies like Saleen to out do OEM models in the price range.

Saleen should think about selling the front bumper , hood and necessary hardware for conversions, I bet a lot of S550 owners would love to change the front.

That's providing Saleen is around long enough to sell anything ? As it is now they have no customer support/sales reps that will take phone calls as I can't even find speedlab parts for my car

I like the rear, but can't get myself to like the front. Just looks...off. Especially on a slightly elevated angle. At that price it wouldn't be inclined to buy it even if I liked the S550. Though I wouldnt be surprised if its a popular car for the wealthier folks. Popular enough the save Saleen? Maybe. Maybe not.

I don't either Nick ! As you can tell that it looks fake and doesn't blend in with the trim moldings

Cool. I wonder if there'll be an option to add foglights in the lower grill?
