If you're driving with a white light facing rearward, think about the idiots on the road. It will distract them. A red rear facing light is what the EU requires...you don't think they would have done research on having a white "fog" light for the rear? The light isn't for illuminating - it's for visibility for the people behind you to see, in low visibility conditions.

I can't believe you guys don't like the clear taillights! They look really good IMO and break up the red of the car. Maybe I should get clears for mine!

Not a fan of the clear lights. I'd rather the US red version. The clear looks too ricer IMO.

lol of course, that's not what I'm asking at all..
Why doesn't it light up red when it's on and but white, like all the rest of the taillights, when it's off?

Ah I see. Again, I'm sure it has to do with EU regulation. They must require a red lens. I've never seen any European car with a rear fog other than a red lens...

That could be.. I'm surprised they allow clear taillights. I wonder if that rear fog is also a filament bulb, maybe LEDs are not allowd either
