I'm planning on a cruise down to the central IL SVT meet on Sunday with my local club.
Doing mine on Friday and heading to Autobahn country club for HPDE on Saturday. Perfect test for the suspension and install. I have gathered all the necessary tools and how tos.

Make sure you get an alignment first, or else your tires will be destroyed at the HPDE.

I'll do the Toe on my own, have the equipment for that. Camber is non adjustable but with my setup I'm looking at -1.3 to -1.7 which is ideal for a street/track set up.

Nice! Where do you live? I'm not far at all from Autobahn.

Question, when you put the top nut on the front strut did you compress the spring first to start the nut then release the spring and finish with the required torque?

Just finished the install of Koni sports, steed sports and BMR PHB. Took me 4 hours thanks to this thread.
So what is the point of the FRPP bump
Stops? They look identical to the stockers.

I believe they're shorter.

No, they are the same just different color. Same height and material. Though the FRPP have a rubber base over the metal one. Other than that they are identical.

Good luck, an impact comes in handy in taking off the top nut off the front assembly. I also had help so it went quicker.

Good to know thanks!

Quick question: Did you guys use camber bolts too? I just re-read and didn't see any mention of them. Are they put in near the bottow of the front strut?

Did not use camber bolts since he resulting negative camber will be b/w -1.3 & -1.7. This is ideal for a DD/track car. If you do all highway driving than one camber bolt per strut is what you need. It goes in the bottom slot. You can always buy and have the alignment shop put it in.

Ok cool. I bought them just in case and have them ready if I need them.
