No I don't, but I also don't go around with a tin foil hat on either, lol.

If the suspension isn't making noise, it's fine in my book. Noise means binding, bending, or contact where there shouldn't be.

 

About to get it aligned today. Should they be able to get it so my tires aren't going to prematurely wear?!

 

Get a lifetime alignment from Firestone.

 

Toe is the biggest culprit for tire wear, worse than camber.

 

And the alignment shop can fix that "toe in" right.

 

Yep, it's about the only thing they can fix. Camber is non adjustable on our cars unless you have camber plates like the steeds ones or camber bolts. You'll be fine with the camber, should be around -1.5 with your setup. Just make sure you take a few corners pretty hard to get the edges worked out

Right on! I appreciate you starting this thread, tons of questions I had were answered as well as stuff I wouldn't have thought of. I'll be starting mine Friday after work and working on it early Saturday morning, hopefully finishing it up in time to get an alignment. I'm planning on a cruise down to the central IL SVT meet on Sunday with my local club.

 

I'd really like to create one (or several) threads that are stickied and have tips and a how to in the first post. This thread could be a reference right below it and use this for discussion. Thoughts?
