Did you do the link with suspension loaded? If so how did you get a TQ wrench in there?

I did the front completely neutralized. Nothing in the instructions said to load the front. I don't know how you'd do it anyways. I know at AAI they do it with no compression on the front. To get the torque wrench in there I used a 12" extension and a deep well socket.

I'd like to see how Mike's rides too. I think I might be overreacting a bit.

Oh, you meant Escalade right, since yours sits up like an suv lol.

I wanted something lower than what I had and the P springs would've raised me up a bit. The fender gap with my 275/35's was driving me crazy. If I can't get over the ride I'll go with my plan b and get BMR's.

My Eibach springs are settling pretty good. But the ride is very stiff. I would give it some time John.

Have you all measured the distance from floor to wheel well on all four corners. The FL was 27.75, FR was 27.5, RR was 28 and RL was 28.25. I guess I need them settle bit.

Ok now that I've had a full nights rest the ride isn't that bad. Yesterday I was going on 4 hours sleep for the cruise so I think that contributed to my irritation lol. It's actually a lot more fun now and I can see the benefit of recaros...maybe a mod for later.

I checked the bump stops and I can barely stick 2 fingers in between. It definitely looks like its hitting them. Since I have 2 extra sets, I'm going to cut part off and see if that'll help.

Also another question. I think the phb is generating nvh from the rear end, is that normal? I never heard it until now.

Yeah tell me about that- what a mess with the brakes. It's going to be very hard to get me off my bike LOL Ill be sure to wear my helmet in your car John - that way i dont hit my head with how rough the ride is LMAO. Ha i don't need no helmet in my 4x4 hahahaha smooth sailing

And Mike ill wear my helmet in your car just cuz i want to match your white and black theme

btw i think i need new brake pads now - to much brake fluid on them - they seem to not stop as well now. Therefore, i might be wearing my helmet in my car as well...

I noticed a sound from the rear also. It sounds like metal on metal rotating. almost like pads contacting a rotor.

That's exactly the same sound.

Hmmm weird and I'm going nuts trying to figure out if that was always there or not and what it could be. More NVH, guess it should be expected. Thought everyone with the BMR said zero noises? Lol I guess some people are more **** then others with noises

You know what I just realized, we both bought of ours used. Did you grease yours yet? I haven't yet and was planning on it when I re-adjust it this weekend. I wonder if that'll cure it.

The outside of bushings should be greased prior to install then about 3 pumps once installed. Same with their LCA's.

That's gotta be it. I'll try and grease them after work today.

Since you mentioned it. Any reccommendations on lca's? Greaseable vs. Non? I like the BMR ones, but AM's J&M ones are pretty attractive at $94.

Boom. Same here. Used and was planning I grease when I get my alignment. There was some grease, just a little, in the bushings from the last owner. Hopefully that helps. Probably not tho lol

On another note, I put the factory wheels on to bring it in for service and they tuck in very far. Extremely UGLY lol. Also I noticed it to have some serious toe-in it seems. I guess more noticeable with the stockers. Or maybe that's just the way it sits. Check out the pic...

Also what would justify me getting the lifetime alignments vs just one. When would I need to get it aligned again? Is it good for only that car?

If you make another suspension change. Or just whenever as sometimes thing can get out of alignment.

I get my cars aligned every two years just for the peace of mind. Makes me confident that I'm not destroying tires.

If you plan on keeping the car for a while it's worth it imo for the lifetime alignments, especially with aftermarket suspension and if you have bad roads by you. The last car I had modded the suspension seemed to need alignments once a year. I plan on going this weekend and I'll be getting the lifetime. Besides its like $80 more. And it's only good for one car.

I got the greaseable BMR ones. As a tip when installing if you can't get the holes to line up and muscling it isn't enough jacking up the opposite front will help.

I'm running the FRPP ones and have no complaints about them whatsoever.
