I'm not saying anything negative about the Shelby, I'm just pointing out that you're coming into this trolling of yours from the wrong attack angle. You want to base it on numbers sold as if that is somehow an indicator of supremacy of one car over the other, when it's more likely that there was a contractual arrangement between Shelby & Ford to produce x amount of cars. Ford doesn't have an outside "Boss" to sign a production contract with. So again, your point is moot. Thanks for playing. Please insert another quarter to continue.

I have a few interesting stories. I have a C/O Boss and it is #167. My first experience was dropping down into the cut off lane after passing a mom and daughter in their car. They followed me down the exit and while I was waiting with my blinker on to make a left the daughter and mom were pointing at the rear of my car. Then out came the phone and I am not sure if they were taking video or pics but it was about the sequential tali lights(my guess anyway)
I was cruising the car another day and a mini van pulled into a lot where I had parked to use my cel phone. The van was quite a distance away. Well a youngster of about 14 gets out and walks all the way over to me and my car. I put the window down and he says "can I take pictures of your car?" My guess is he was about 14 years old. I get out of the car and say "sure fill your boots
" He takes his cel phone and starts taking pics from all angles. Then while he is stoked getting pics he explains to me about all the muscle cars he has taken pics of. He even shown some to me on his phone. Old Chevelles, Challengers, Corvettes and older Mustangs. I was pleased to learn that some of the younger generation are still into Muscle cars and not the imports if you know what I mean.
Here is the crazy storey. I was out late enjoying a drive in the BOSS. I had remembered I needed to get milk. I stopped at a 24 hour gas/convience store and go get milk. On my way out there are 3 people about 21 to 24 years of age. I get the typical questions about the car and this young girl comes out of the store. She spies my car and says " WOW, nice F*&%#ing car!" I just smiled and said "thanks" Well she starts asking for a drive in it. I am thinking should I and shouldn't I?? LOL She is 21 and very cute and to top it off a killer little body. Well before I know it she kicks her boots off in the parking lot and says I won't get your car dirty. Just take me for a drive. Before I could answer she is opening the door and climbing in. I just laughed and took her for a rip in the BOSS.
She looked at me when we returned and said that thing is like a Carnival ride. Its just BAD!!
My thoughts driving home........................"Why couldn't I have had this car when I was 21?" LMAO

Driving the boss at Talladega Super Speedway yesterday. Not a true open track, but a charity event put on by a corvette club "vettes for vets".
There are 2 sessions of about 6 laps each. Theres a pace car so it's hit or miss as whether you'll get any decent speed. I did manage to crack the 150 mark during the 2nd session in turn 2. She pulled like a freight train he whole way there too.
Not the most exciting time spent on a track, but it's a nice event for a great cause. I think the other highlight of the day was all the corvette guys oogling over my Boss.

I did have a bit of fun with it though. My 15 yr old sister just received her learner's permit, and she kept telling me how she was going to drive the BOSS while I was gone. No way in hell. Lol Well after 2 weeks of hearing these comments, I let her jump behind the wheel (parked in the driveway) for a photo op that she could show her Facebook friends. She was cheesin' big time!!

Yeau ummm... So my Boss moment of the day today.... Hold on while I don a flame suit here.... I opened the spare tire compartment to put my compressor in it.... And discovered the car came with a compressor. Hey I had no idea!! Much nicer than my old one.
OK, there. I've shared. I'm sure every other Boss owner already knows it's there.... But in my defense I haven't even had her for a week yet. Still plenty to learn.... That was a pleasant surprise.
