This is why most people are buying a Boss 302:

Moment of the day - Seeing all the necks snapping and jaws dropping while cruising in a freshly waxed BOSS. Bonus - Creeping through parking lots and neighborhoods with the windows down and hearing little kids say "Nice Mustang!". Don't think that'll ever get old.

When getting back in the car today after fueling up I notice a young lady standing next to the BOSS just staring. She was a worker at the quickstop that had to come out and see it. I put down the window and she asked, "is it straight"? I thought for a second and figured it must ne some new way of asking if it was bad, cool or a great ride..........Anyway, I responded with "it's awsome".
Her response........."I'm in love"...........

Driving through town at about 25 with the windows down, I hear 'nice car....nice car....nice car' - Three kids riding bikes. I blipped the throttle for them.
I can imagine what they were thinking. Same hot wheel dream I had at that age.

My Boss moment of the day? Visiting with my dealer and having him tell me that from L.A. to their showroom can take two days. Which means my Boss could arrive early. But I'll be traveling and won't be around when it arrives.

Today= Guy in an SRT8 Charger playing around showing how well it could automatically downshift, rev out, almost hit the guy in front of him, slow down, repeat.
Yesterday= Pulled up next to a guy trailering a brand spankin' new RACE RED GT500. They were stoked to see the Boss.
Day before yesterday= Guy in a brand spankin' new RACE RED GT500 pulled up next to me for the thumbs up!
Tomorrow= Just gonna cruise around Laguna Seca a bit.

Are you serious, while feeding my Boss yesterday, a teenager with a 5.0 comes over and asks "Where did you get the stripes for your car and how hard was it getting the 5.0 emblem off the fender"-->
<-- Had to be a, Daddy purchased 5.0 for him or he's joy riding Daddy's car.

Driving home yesterday on the Hardy Toll road (Houston) drove beside the sweetest '66 GT I have ever seen. He had the classic 350GT color scheme of White with Blue stripes to counter my white on blue. We cruised side by side for about a mile then gave each other the "thumbs up" and I pulled away. That '66 looked so good it almost makes me want to paint my Boss. I wish we had been on surface streets so we could have stopped for a side-by-side picture.
Unloading the car off the trailer last night and a young guy in an Evo does a drive by then U-turns in the cul de sac and comes back to check out the Boss. Said it was the first one he's seen. Asked a lot of questions about how well it does on the track and I'm telling him he's got quite a track car himself. Didn't seem impressed just wanted to talk about the Boss.
