Well, if it makes you feel any better, when I order large thing via amazon (like a drill press) their expected delivery times and arrangements fail all the time too.

No, March 14th. Just committing on how customer service is told not to give the customer to much info.

Glenn is right this all goes away after you get your car. I went thru this last year waiting on the Gt500 from Feb to May. I was pissed for several months. Dealers aren't set upfor our kind of enthusiasum, and neither is Ford. They view this as units sold. To us this is emotional otherwise we wouldn't buy Boss 302s or anything like them. When my car finally got to Atlanta my car salesman called the rail head and got my car delivered on Sunday of the same week. I will forever be grateful to him to call in a favor. I look forward to hearing all of your comments and pics when your cars get here. Good Luck !

Besides, its not as bad as this situation:
http://www.autoblog.com/2011/03/24/r...-held-hostage/

A situation has developed between Allied trucking and automakers General Motors and Chrysler that has deteriorated to the point of hostage-taking. The Detroit News reports that GM has filed a lawsuit against the car-hauling company that alleges it's holding 1,700 of the automaker's valuable Chevy Silverado and Camaro models that should be on their way to dealers.

Does it suck. Yes. Will you survive? Maybe. Can you speed the process up by calling Ford 12.81 times per hour. No.

Wait it out my man!

Well said.

As soon as you realize you aren't buying a car FROM Ford, you are buying a car MADE by Ford FROM a dealer, and that the "E" in ETA stands for "Estimated", and it's a limited build first year vehicle, that can be and likely will be held up for quality checks, and is being produced far in advance of a "normal" model year, and that all the "bad" info you are getting is meant for the dealer, it might be a little easier to stomach.

Went through this exact thing last year waiting on the Raptor.

It will come eventually and be worth the wait many times over. You're not the first person to wait on a car to be delivered. I know it sucks, but it's just the way it is.

And before someone says I don't have to read these posts, you're wrong, I'm forced to.

I enjoy the comments, makes the waiting a little better.
I wonder if I will have time to read them when the car gets here though???
I am sure I will though, as they are great!

Hello folks,

I wanted to let you know, that we (Customer Care Reps) are limited to what we are able to advise you of. It is not to upset you guys, is more that we are not able to. I will continue to do my best with your order statuses. Thank your for your support and your patience.

I guess you are limited on answering emails too. Because I haven't received an answer to the two emails I have sent you in the past two weeks.

We understand Deysha, but at least in my case I was fed a complete line of BS (not by you though!). I can accept "we can't find out" or "we don't know". I can't accept complete falsehood.

I think that I speak for all here when I say that I am very grateful that you are here and looking out for us. It is appreciated!

Very well said. We certainly are not the "norm" when it comes to buying rigs. The system isn't built around people like us for an organization like Ford. Now, if we were all ordering new Aston Martins, this will be an entirely different deal...

You know, I must admit that this is a great point. It is a mass production deal....
But the capability certainly exists to make the current system work a bit better.
And I think that there can be an argument made that we have a mass production system that is also producing niche, enthusiast vehicles.

No, I believe they are being paid to do their job. And I'm sure they have their hands full with tons of people wanting to know about their cars.

They work for Ford, not us.
So while yes they are doing their job, a very BUSY job...they aren't TMS or JZA1736 customer service specialists.
