I doubt it is in their job description to be berated by people on the forums. Especially considering all the people she has helped here.

I'm sure they are not trawling the sites to see who needs help or info because they're board and done reading their facebook page. They are being paid by Ford. And I have been very nice and understanding in every email and phone call that I have made. My patience starts to run thin after 4 months of no info people not returning emails.

My dealers calls me or I call him every couple of weeks. But he is also in the dark. All he knows is they have 2 allocations. It's easier to write for an email and wait for a reply(which usually should take a day or two, week at the most), than sit on hold for hours just to hear "sorry, no new info". I'm always nice to the reps and say thank you for any help they provide.

Have you tried calling your Zone for allocation confirmation?

No, how do I get the zone reps number? Having a build quarter would definitely take some stress away! It's the not knowing that I can't deal with.

I found my Zone's various telephone numbers just by searching the internet.

x2

They aren't a tracking service. They are going above and beyond dealing with all the "where's my car" questions. Be thankful.

There's your problem There is ZERO reason for your dealer not to know this yet. As much as I defend the dealers (I am one ), by now a build quarter is a minimum expectation IMO.

You would think he would at least have Q info. I feel like they are withholding info because of 4th quarter build and they don't want me to go looking elsewhere. but I'm done waiting for Q build. I'm starting a to search for a new dealer. Found 2 LS's , both have ADM's and I'm not interested in that.

If they said 4th quarter build and you found a 2nd or 3rd, you wouldn't change?

Heck, you may find one sitting on a dealer lot, and be driving before the weekend is out.

How long have you been dealing with the original dealer? I couldn't find my build quarter info until I got a vehicle identification number. My dealer kept telling me not to worry, it'll be "soon". He's been my dealer, and same salesperson, for about 20 years, and never had any issues in the past, so I trusted him implicitly, even though it was very frustrating to read the build quarter posts of others. He called me like clockwork every Friday morning after he checked the Thursday night computer updates.

Now if it had been the only contact I had ever had with the dealership I would have been much more concerned.

3rd quarter no, 4th quarter, yes, I would look. But not knowing is making me look. I've been making calls today and when I find a second Q at Msrp, I'm gone. Or a 3/4th Q LS with less than 5000 ADM, I'm gone

First time ford customer. Started dealing with this guy mid November. Ordered December 1st. And yes, I'm a little worried about getting my car. I saw the Dora, but I know that doesn't mean much.

I'm not defending the system, but Ford doesn't ship the vehicles...(
There could be a variety of reasons why it isn't in one point.
(a lot beyond Fords control before your car is built and after)
Just look at the Camaro right now..shipping issues are/may stall deliveries...

+ the info Ford gets is only as good as who's giving it to them.
I really wish the system was more precise, as do all of you....
but its an estimated shipping date for a reason. Just have to sit back and wait.

In this case the squeaky wheel is going to just keep squeaking...grease isn't the solution.

That part I get. Not knowing what quarter the allocation is, I don't get. Every dealer I call seems to know their quarter allocation. I found a few marked up bosses, LS's, and a couple 4th Q builds. I have just located 1 2nd Q build at Msrp. If my dealer can't tell me a Q build of 2/3 by Monday, I'm asking for my deposit back!

1 dealer told me 30000 over Msrp for a standard Boss. I told him good luck with that!
