ShaneM #001 on Ebay
Perhaps shane should thank the owner of #2 for promoting his car.
Mentioning #1 ten times on the ad only elevated the status and appeal of #1 while diminishing the importance of his #2 car even though he tried his best to trash the competition... unsuccessfully. His malice seems to be backfiring. Had the emphasis on his ad been on the merits of #2 in a short, professional manner rather than the song and dance routine the offers might be a lot higher.

Regarding the offers I have on my car, rest assured, I have several legit offers and the big difference is I have the financial means to buy a 6 pack of Boss 302s without batting an eye. I am offering my car for sale because I already have a car collection worth 7 figures and I have been slowly selling off pieces of the collection that I am choosing to sell. I think this is the right time to offer my car to the right collector and the right collector will end up with the car.
Again, I pointed out material facts in my listing and the relevance of the collectibilty of the two cars....period. All the best to you
You are entitled to your opinion but if you read my listing again on EBay you will clearly see I gave full credence to the 0001 car and merely wanted to point out the difference in the level the two cars were preserved. If you read my listing again you will also see that I was not only professional in my listing but also paid homeage to the significance of the 0001 car. Lastly, I would hope you would retract your exaggeration that I did my best to "trash" the competition....come on bud, "trash", let's be fair here.

"...and who is to say something won't happen to the #1 car down the road..."
"...Now, I am not taking anything away from the #0001 car by any means, that is a serious collectible as well but read the internet articles and posts. The owner of that car drove the car hard by his own admission up to 140 MPH! He spoke of his plans to race the car etc., removed the factory exhaust plates, put his kid's car seats in the car...etc, etc. etc..."
"... The #1 car has been PDI'd at the dealer and all plastic and stickers removed. The car has been treated like any other car..."

All factual statements based on posts and photos by Shane the former owner....is a factual statement bashing/trashing in your book? Ask the guy who's question is posted on my EBay who also posts on this site. Facts are facts, my car has not been PDI'd, is not a daily driver, like any other car would be and has not been run hard or had the exhaust played with, kids car seats put in it, etc. Etc. I have cars (my supercharged '11 GT for example) that I treat like that and if I bought Boss 2,xxx or whatever I would treat it differently than 0002. It is in more original condition than 0001 period. And yes, anything car happen to any object on the planet especially when used as a daily driver. The number 2 1970 Boss 429 sold for more than the number 1 car 4 some odd years ago...because of condition, history, records. So how do you like your 2012 Boss........?

I will thank you endlessly for the top secret history lesson, hopefully Homeland Security will not charge you with compromising our national security interests.
The retraction department is now closed.
So it's settled. CRM's buying me a Boss, Vito a tank of gas, and Jason a car wash. Sounds good to me.
Just have my Boss drop shipped to So Cal, or I can pick it up from you. Whichever's easier for you

Absolutely. Double so since you just did it again.
There was no reason for you to mention digs about #1 in the ad for selling your #2 car, whether they were truthful or not.
Be a man. Sell on your own merits.
Or are you afraid that "nobody remembers second place"?
Not another one of these ****head dweebs...
Many stang owners bought the one they want. Period. Regardless of future SE's. And many refuse to open their wallets for that inner city paint combo on the '12 Bosses. Regardless of their production number.
