The trailer/car and parts are somewhere just over 9k lbs. The trailer has a GVWR of 10k lbs. There's probably another 600lbs of tires, gas and tools in the pickup. Total towing capacity is 11,300. Mileage was 7.6 @65 but when I drove 75 it dropped to 5.2! I will take a little more time to get there

What is the trailer weight empty? I am am guessing around 3500-4000. Mine weighs 2100 and I'm also carrying gas, tires etc to the track with the 5.0. I got 13.3 going to Homestead last month door to door mostly highway with cruise control on at 67. Return trip 13.9 without cruise and more traffic 65-70. Sebring is secondary roads with few lights and I get 14.6 pulling the Boss there around 55-65.

Seems like a big difference for two or even three thousand pounds? I know an enclosed trailer has more wind resistance but 5.2 really surprises me.

That's why it is called EcoBoost. It's a Boost to the Economy, because of how much gasoline Gary buys. Your nation thanks you, Gary.

My 11 x5 with the boosted i6 got 13.5 mpg towing an open car trailer weighing 6500lbs. 5-6 seems extremely excessive.

Just washed it last night after work (don't worry, it's not the first time it's been washed, haha). These are the first pictures I've uploaded of 1638. I got it back in October and it has about 2,800 miles at this point now. I really can't say how much I love this car! Anyhow, once it gets warmer I'll have a tougher time deciding whether to take the Boss out or my Harley... it's a tough choice, but I guess I'll suffer through!

I took these real quick with my phone, so I'll try and get some better ones with a real camera once I find a nice spot close to where I live.

Looking Good. Maybe I'll see you someday on the road. I'm from South Central Jersey. 10 miles south past Great Adventure.

Thanks! The furthest south I've been with it so far is Toms River, but it would be great to see another Boss out there. So far, I've only seen two (aside from mine) in person on the road. One was a CO up in PA around Allentown and another CO with white stripes on the GS Parkway a few weeks ago on the Driscoll Bridge. It's amazing what a difference the white on orange makes, the orange doesn't look nearly deep/reddish.

The yellow blaze is awesome though! I tried to get one but every one I found had a crazy ADM charge. I think I wound up with the right color combo for me. The white and black work really well together - even better in person if you've never seen one up close. Grabber blue is my favorite, although personally I like the styling a little better on the 12's vs the 13's. I guess you can't always have it all, haha!

Hey, thanks! I have a 2004 Road King Custom which has about 16,000 miles on it which I've kind of converted into a Street Glide. I put a Dragonfly Customs fairing on it a couple years ago, and just had the motor done last year. The thing runs amazing now with the 95" big bore kit with a gear drive cam. It's putting down about 115 ft lbs of torque to the pavement, just a blast to ride! I'd link up a picture, but don't want to hi jack the thread or anything, haha. After I got the motor done on the bike last April, I didn't think I'd have more fun in/on another vehicle...until I bought the Boss! Definitely put some more mile on both of those machines though!

Gary,
How what is the tongue weight for your trailer fully loaded? Hove you measured it?
It looks like it's well over a 1,000 lbs.
Do you have a tongue weight scale ?

It's a little over 5,000 empty. 10,000 GVW.

I got 11 mpg with my open trailer in my '08 F-150. I was bucking a 30 mph wind on the way down

No I don't. Might need to get it into the trailer store to measure it?

I like those side scoops

I'm usually not a fan of cosmetics that aren't functional....but I like them.

any more pics you can post from a little further away?

Thanks, the white and black really are a great combo. It's actually pretty funny now that I think about it... My first Mustang was a black 84 GT with t-tops and my last one before the Boss was a white 92 GT, so maybe that's where the inspiration came from, haha.

Drove MAM yesterday.
Stayed overnight at Offutt Air Force Base, which was originally an Army Fort. They put me in Distinguished Visitor quarters on the parade ground--pretty nice for a retired guy! Building was built in 1895.
General Officers live on this street in similar houses that are duplexes--you have to be a 3 or 4 start to get a house to yourself!

I was stationed ay Offutt in the mid 80's......Did a long *** burnout on General's Row after leaving the Airmans Club. Quickly drove the car to the barracks jumped out of the car, walked into the day room and watched though the widow as the Security Police drove around looking for me.....didn't get caught.
