Took my time loading the Boss to make sure I didn't do anything stupid.
Good looking trailer Wayne

Thanks!
Wait til next weekend when I put the Enkei's on, and load it up again for a road test. I think the pic will look very familiar.

Where do the "plates" install at? Location point on the exhaust system that is?
Factory exhaust plate I think is a 1/2 hole" One of the TMS members makes larger plates if you want them. His name is Scott

This is plausible with the new 5.8L engine being in the 2013 GT500 (351ci = 5.75L).
When Hameedi was interviewed he was asked if there would be other applications for the 5.8 and he said no just the GT500.

Also, think about it - the NA DOHC 5.4 in the 2000 Cobra R made 385 hp. Extrapolate that to a 5.8 and you get 413.5 hp. Even if the Cobra R was underrated, it's still doubtful that an NA version of the 5.8 in the GT500 could make more than the current Boss 5.0. They would need to adapt the Ti-VCT to the 5.8, improve the heads, come up with a new intake manifold, etc. etc. and it wouldn't be worth it for a 1 year run.

The more likely outcome is that 2014 will be a pretty boring year for changes. The V6, GT and GT500 will just carry over from 2013 and there won't be a Boss. It's just a bridge year until the redesigned 2015 is rolled out.

Thanks Jerry

The discs are actually 5/16 opening from the factory. Many people like to take the discs out and run wide open. Others, like myself, did not like the sound without any exhaust disc in place or it was too loud for the owner or neighborhood where they live. I think most agree the factory discs are too small.

The different sizes add a unique sound to the Boss, or as I say they tune the sound to your personal liking. Check out the thread Jerry posted and feel free to ask me any questions.

one quick question if I may. If you change to a 1/2 or 3/4 per say, like I am thinking about getting some, is there any kind of "drone" at all with any of the plates?

No drones reported. Scott makes a well built product. Remember.....it's all about what sound you want your Boss to have. I live in the sticks on a farm, and run Roush axel backs and wide open side exhaust.
This would be to loud if I had neighbors close by...
Goats / Chickens / Horses don't seem to mind the growl of the Roadrunner

Or you can spend more money and get the electric exhaust cutouts from QTP.

It is not me or the aftermarket discs to thank for no drone, that is the way the Ford engineers designed the pipes. There is no drone with or without the discs of any size. I am sure they knew many people would run wide open or change the size and took that into account.

Not mine... Spotted at the Dallas Auto Show this weekend.
Spotted another white one circling the civic center looking for parking. Was that anyone here?

If it was Saturday afternoon that may have been me you saw looking for parking.

I checked out that car too. Had to open the hood to see if it was a low number but it wasn't. The funny part was a guy started talking to my date about how the car came with two keys. She told him I had one just like the one we were looking at. Turns out he was a chevy guy but really loved what he's heard about the Boss and was thinking about getting one. I told him he wouldn't regret it.

Tell me about it. I got a ride from a buddy hot lapping my boss, thought I'd pick up a few of his techniques and it was obviously beyond my abilities :/ it did however convert a skeptic into absolutely loving the boss and hoping to *** one to his stable

Don't worry, I'm a "man of a certain age" and I don't wear baseball caps backwards or anything like that, so...it will be painted.
