I saw it when I went to go pickup my Laguna Seca, pretty nice car in person, almost made me want to see if they would trade for it :P
IIRC though it was one of the specialty cars that Ford did for charity. O.C. Welch seems to get quite a good bit of Boss's from Ford. My car was a pre-production Boss 302 Laguna Seca and they had another one there was well as a couple of regular Boss 302's that were pre-production.

That SC dealer is awesome. The all hands on owner can find you just about anything you want. He buys tons of corp Ford cars directly from ford with hardly any miles on them. Certifies them and gets you the extra warranty and 100k powertrain. 15-20k off original sticker with under 1000 miles on them. I am in FL and had to shop all over to find what I wanted. The owner landed me a great deal ! W C Welch Ford SC

Honestly I had a different experience, I dealt with Chip the owners son, really cool guy and the people there are awesome!! The problem I had was they never told me they had to get a key re-made so when I got there I was just told they didn't have a second key and would send it out on Monday ( I think, I picked it up on a Saturday but I remember it was a couple of days after I picked it up he said), 2 weeks later I had to call them about the key and they didn't know what I was talking about until I spoke to the sales manager John (again another absolutely great guy) and he then sent me the Red key for the car once he found out that I hadn't gotten it. Then I had to wait 3 months to get the car registered because they made the first car payment without notifying me or asking me if they should. Granted I lost 1 month because I completely forgot about the payment but once I finally got the registration info, they filled out the wrong forms so I spent 3 days at DMV getting it sorted out and filling out the correct paperwork and then had to pay another $300+ out of pocket because the check they sent to cover the sales & DMV tax was short because they filled out the form wrong.
That being said it seems like they dropped the ball, **** happens ya know but the people there are extremely polite and really awesome to deal with I have to say. They were always able to answer my question about the car when I asked them about it initially and were extremely courteous and polite.

I would not have guessed this to be true a year ago, but I'm surprised how well the Boss is holding up depreciation-wise. The GT500's seem to be coming down, percentage-wise, about like a normal high-end car. From say 48-55k msrp to 38-48k asking price with under 15k mi on Autotrader. The Bosses were say 40-48k msrp and still asking 38-45k for low miles. Anecdotal I know, but this post points out what the market seems to be saying - used Bosses seem to be holding their value better for the time being.
Not to be rude but many dealerships could not give the 11-12 Shelbys away. It's all about supply, demand and wanting the latest and greatest. I'm sure there will be some depreciation over the next few years, however if there is no carry over for the 5.8, I can see the value of the 13-14 Shelby to increase in the future. We will see how the values will hold up in the future for both the Shelby and the Boss. But like with anything there has to be a demand and the value is in how much you want it and are willing to pay.

Now we know why OC wants $200k for the car. Was asking 500k dec 13.
He said It's the only Candy Red and the last car produced . So it's all true.

I saw the last BOSS off the line, signed by all the workers in a SC showroom where I bought my car. Candy Apple Red and they were asking $200,000 as of 12/2014 for it ! VIN: 1ZVBP8CU2D5258897
