I don't own a Boss but my DD is a brown race truck.

 

I'll chime in on the DD debate - I ordered a 5.0 GT instead of the boss for a couple reasons. My dealer didn't get any allocations for a boss and at that time I would have paid over sticker to get one in OH unless I ordered out of state (I really wanted to find a black & red LS). Second I liked the options of Nav, leather, HIDs, sync, etc. Other factors in my decision - I don't go to the track and I live in Ohio so we only have like 100 "nice" days per year. lol

I'm very happy with my 5.0 and it works out well for me. I drive my 99 v6 (first car) when it rains and snows and the 5.0 comes out of the garage when the sun shines and the roads are clear! I put just over 4k on it since June . . .

FWIW - If I lived in FL though I think I would have bought a PP GT500!

lol, they like it as much as i do. my son was all mad when i sold the first boss i had because he wanted to sell it for a "million dollars" when he was "old like me." and FTR im not old, when you are 10 anyone with a 2 or higher number in front is old. when he assumed the car would be his when he was older. my daughter cried because "mommies SUV sucks" and she would get stuck with it in her mind. by god i'm raising her right.

the best thing ever is my daughter she sits in her pink car seat next to me sometimes and will fake shifting as we drive while going waaaa, waaaaa, waaaaaa. each time we go under a bridge she puts the windows down and says "Make it go WAAAAWAAAAWAAAA daddy!"
