And just for the record, there have been just as many fans/owners of the new S550 hating on the S197, so therefore it works both ways..
Just as the saying goes "What goes around, comes around "

I can certainly understand and respect people for expressing their opinions regardless of whether or not they happen to like the new car, however those opinions can also be expressed in a constructive manner rather than coming across as trolling..

1. Comments on <blank> without any explanation given whatsoever; fill in the blank with wheels, the rear end, the nose, the windows, the wheel gap, the taillights, badging or lack of badging, etc. No explanation given as to any of it just one liners and run.
2. Comments on the driving characteristics being too lame and then run.
3. Comments about how slow the car is and then run.
We also have intra-S550 'hits' going on as well.
1. Comments about the 4 cylinder and then run.
2. People posting positive things or excitement about what they ordered or purchased being trashed with comments about their choices of non-Performance Package, non-V8, non-manual transmission comments.
It is unfathomable that people who can afford a $25-$50 car followed up with thousands in modifications can act so immature. The tactic is working, though. I, for one, no longer have any desire to share my vast experience.
What was once an excitement on my end to read about things others have posted or to look at photos of their new cars while mine is on order waiting to be delivered is now much less exciting as I just expect to see more 'drive by' posts.
After my new Mustang arrives, my fourth, I will not be on here much anymore. While I understand that everyone is entitled to their 'opinion' I am also entitled to the use the off switch.
I suppose I am just spoiled. The Ford Focus group I have been a part of the past 3 or so years is much less childish. While there are disagreements and negativity they seem to be explained in a rational manner.
