Our car show is later this month so I expect to see the '15 in person. At this point no pics have swayed my lackluster opinion yet. Looking forward to seeing it though

So, my advice, for what it's worth, wait..see it in person. It makes the Camaro and Challenger look like the boxes it came in.
I saw the 2015 mustang at the Philly auto show and respectfully couldn't disagree more. The car was nothing spectacular and nice looking at best. The pictures looked nicer than in person and the rear, what ever that is.

Finally saw the new car at the Milwaukee auto show. It was a DIB GT. I think the new car is sharp looking. The cat is definitely a Mustang. Compared to some of the other coupes at the show it looks sharp. My stumbling point is the color palette. Nothing really trips my trigger. Especially when compared to Gotta Have it Green.

Still funny to me all the polarization of opinion. I want to see the pricing first but I see this car being quite popular. Already has the attention of every automotive publication.

Sucks that the insurance will still be way too high.

I really like the profile and the rear end, but every time I see a picture of the 2015- or pass by a Fusion- I just get more and more pissed. After 3 years going on and on about the "revolutionary" look of the '15, they wimp out and slap the corporate front on it.

I work in product design and launch in another industry, and I just suspect the designers had some actual, revolutionary proposals before some moronic executive said "Nope, let's tie it into the product line."

Till they redesign at least from the windshield forward, my S197 will keep me quite happy.

Cool

The way I look at it, the body is more than acceptable. The interior is outstanding and revolutionary. The mechanical updates are revolutionary for a Mustang. A turbo four with over 305 horsepower in a Mustang with IRS is revolutionary. Most of the time a person spends more time inside the Mustang than looking at it from the outside. The interior and performance should sell the new Mustang.

Yeah, Cause it Clearly looks Nothing Like a Mustang...

Because they Obviously Only Drew Inspiration from the New Fusion and Other New Fords when they were Designing the 2015 Mustang...

Ugly or not, it's funny that everyone forgets how well the SN95s sold.

On another note, I looked at a Fusion yesterday to realize the lights were pretty different than the Mustang's. The wrap around doesn't really sway me one way or another.

SN95s, at least the New Edge, are not ugly. They had terrible interiors and packaging, but they can be some badass looking cars, and still look decently modern from the outside.

I have PMed, emailed, and posted in his for sale thread without getting ahold of him. Saw him on this thread and thought I could catch him here while he was looking.

As they say in my profession (ophthalmics)... "Which looks better, one- or two?"

TWO!

I've had nearly every body style and type of Mustang at one time or another (buying a 2005 for the daughter's first car this weekend- which will currently give us 4), so I can appreciate all the various styling cues over the years. Still, that front end still looks god awful ugly to me. Those that like it should go buy it... in 2 years, Ford will move away from it and the '15-16 fiasco will be a thing of the past.

ONE!

The comparison really makes the 14 look Very One Dimensional and Dated, and for the Record, I used to feel the 13/14 Mustang was the best looking Mustang since the 60's

Agreed. Was not feeling the new front end until I saw that side-by-side the other day. Although I prefer the 11-12 front to the 13-14 front, I was shocked at how much better I thought the 15 front looked compared to the 13-14. Now I got curious about side-by-side with 11-12. Not the same colors, but I think the 11-12 fares better:

Yeah, still prefer the 11-12 front over the 2015 front. Sorry, just looks more aggressive and nicer less the fog lights. Lol
