Those who hated or were on the fence, has the 2015 Mustang grown on you?
First time I saw the car I loved the front and hated the rear. My wife instantly wanted to buy it, haha. Then since she was already on board I thought it would be a good sides to sell myself and started looking at it more. The more I saw the more I liked the rear. Now I'm at a point to were the car looks amazing in all angles except for the profile. I'm sure when I see it this weekend in Fort Worth I'm hoping to love the whole thing. That is if the show has it. I really want to like it, now if I can convince the wife to drive a manual...
The picture of the black someone posted the other day got my attention. It looks a lot better to me than any other color, but I still don't like it. More I look at it, the more I see things I specifically don't like about the Camaro...like maybe someone designed the front, someone designed the rear, and then somebody else put them together. The roof profile looks off, too. This really stands out to my eye looking at a pic of the convertible (top down) next to a hardtop. Top down, the 'vert profile looks like a whole 'nother vehicle.
Still waiting to see one in person... but all I see now is Fusion/Taurus and Camaro hips. :-(

It's nice to see that some things don't change on car forums. Owners with a recent model rarely like the recently released model as much or more than their own. Coming from BMW forums I can assure you the same stuff happens there. "I don't like the lines...the electric steering isn't as good as the old hydraulic steering...the cars are getting softer...etc"
I was on the fence after seeing the pictures but am firmly in the like it category now. This is the first Mustang I am truly considering buying. The IRS was a must for me as I would tend to trade a little speed for superior handling as opposed to the other way around. I'm also an interior snob and while I wouldn't call the design great, I am very pleased with what appears to be vastly improved materials.
FWIW I think the Guard color is the one that makes the lines look the best to me. They had a GT in the orange color at our auto show.

Just because you own a certain car doesn't mean you automatically hate others lol
What if the car really doesn't appeal to them? I mean that is like saying "how could you not think this girl is pretty" everyone has different tastes.
It's a very nice car, I'm just not in love with it.
And to make a big purchase like a new car I HAVE to be in love with it.

I agree and have said something along these lines before. Whenever I see a negative comment about the 2015 mustang one of the first things I do is scroll down to their sig just to see what type of car they own. Majority of the time it is a 11-14 mustang. They will get over it and like it or love it just as much as we do!

The actual 15 doesn't tug at my heart like the 10-12 did. The 13-14 have some elements that I like better than the 10-12, and some I don't (namely I did like the black plastic lower side skirts, but think the rear fascia could've been done better - see 07-09 GT500). There are parts of the 15 that I like, and more parts I don't, at least from pictures. That said, I still get excited to see it because it's new. I just wish the Car and Driver rendering from November was the real car. I liked the headlights better (they were slanted up a little bit and the elements looked more futuristic), I like the hips better (not as wanabe wide body) and I liked the rear end better. The Car and Driver rendering grabbed my heart. The real car, not as much.

Actually I had a 2011 Mustang V6 and now have a 2013 GT. I was planning on a 2015 Mustang GT. I am sure I won't buy a "Fusion coupe." I will look at the new GT350 to see if the SVT guys do something to bring back the "icon" I wanted to drive. If not, I'm starting to look at The Dodge Challenger.

We get it, people think that it looks like a fusion. Im glad you posted pictures just incase WE ALL FORGOT.
Personally, I think a 4 door performance sedan would rock out for Ford. You drop a 5.0 in the Fusion and that B otch would roll and great for consumers with children. Look how many Chargers you see out there. There all over the place. The new Chevy SS has 400 plus HP and wouldn't surprise me if that sells well. I was told by a salesman of Chevy at the Philadelphia auto show the Chevy SS will be a limited production car.
There are a lot of people who would love a fast car with performance all while having the convenience of 4 doors to accommodate their family.
I'm not talking about making it a handling beast but make it performance oriented in a straight line and that sucker would sell.
