Since the release of a completely new model often many people are either dead against the look or on the fence. So to those who either hated the Mustang or those on the fence, has anything changed the more you look at it?
350z body, messed up rear end, and generic front end. No thanks.
I am hoping to see the car in person (maybe at the international auto show that the has all the dealers? We have it coming to Boston in January, like always. I assume it will be there front and center in Ford's spot?).
Based on pics I give it like a 9.5/10

Hate is too strong of a word
I really want to like it but overall the car doesn't excite me. Ultimately, I ask myself if I would give the car a second look if it didn't have the Mustang logo and the answer is no. It appears more like a sport coupe, such as a Honda Accord or Hyundai Genesis. Maybe it will be more appealing in person.
Yes, it has completely grown on me now. Definitely getting one either in 16 or 17. Hated it at first but that was the v6 I was looking at. Once I saw the gt it began to grow on me to the point I want one.
I'll post a reverse opinion. From the renders, I was worried I would have to buy a new mustang. I really liked the renderings a lot. So much that it made me consider trading in my baby. Now that I've seen the actual car , in pictures at least, I feel better. I like the new mustang more than any other new car that is available but not more than the mustang I have in my driveway.

Still kinda on the fence. Think it looks good, but wish it was more edgy. Body lines are a little flat and meh, really wish it had more curves around the front and rear tires. More of a coke bottle shape, with the body line rounding the front tire, dropping at the door, then raising up at the hips. Really wish the hips were about another 1-2 inches higher than the rest of the body line crease. And maybe a little more sharpness and smaller grill up front. The duck tail and spoiler offered look lame. I'd say a 7 out of 10 purely on looks, IMO.

The car and driver renderings were my favorite too. I think holding off till I see the real thing in person is a good idea. I'm pretty good at jumping to conclusions.
Thanks for those who participated so far.
So far we can see that those who were on the fence have been converted over pretty well......Those who hated it are largely entrenched and still hate it, though a notable percentage of them are now on the fence. I'd argue if you moved from hating it to the fence you'll likely be in the "love it" camp by spring.

I was on the fence, but now I love. I loved the idea of the IRS and the 5.0 Coyote in the 2015, but other information concerning size and body design was confusing. The renderings by some of the car magazines had me going from WOW to yuck, so when the 2015 was finally debuted I had to really look it over. I'll admit there are some things I don't like about the 2015's body, but they're not deal breakers and maybe they will improve with later models. The more I learned about the total car, the more I liked it, especially the GT.
Overall I think Ford did a good job, and if I didn't already have a 2013 GT sitting in the driveway, I'd be waiting for a 2015 GT.

Nope. Still don't care for it. Give me another few weeks, maybe I'll dislike it more. Lol
