Those who hated or were on the fence, has the 2015 Mustang grown on you?
There certainly isn't anything wrong with liking the looks of the new Mustang
The Fusion is the best selling car from FORD. I'm not surprised that they think a "coupe version" - called a Mustang - will sell well! And, that's the name of the business. I just don't like a "homogenized" looking car, and yes, that includes some of the 1990's Mustangs. I really don't see the 2015 headlights as "Muscle car looking." More "girly car looking" - I guess European. There are lots of "European looking" cars with the "cutsey headlights" these days. So I hope they sell really well...to raise the price of my FORD stock. But I'll be looking at the Dodge Challenger SRT8 when I decide to sell my 2013 GT convertible......unless the SVT guys bring out an "iconic looking" Mustang.
I'm glad this doesn't bother you about the specs of the challanger -
- Weight: 4170 lbs
The fact that you are going to trade your mustang in for a Challanger, is well almost comical. Why not just supercharge your 13' and destroy any Challanger on the street?

A muscle car that also doubles as a tank!

But I added the Taurus (You probably thought it was another picture of the Fusion) and the KIA.
With 470HP, the Challenger does "OK" with a top speed of 175 - with the automatic and 0-60 in 4.5Sec. It not only performs as a "Muscle car" but has the "iconic" Muscle car look

LMAO! You really don't need to worry about Your Ford Stock, You could get Rich being a Comedian... No.. Wait... Better Yet, You better Hold Onto Your Ford Stock because You REALLY Need to See an Optometrist if you See a Fusion/Taurus/or Especially a KIA when You Look at the 2015 Mustang. It's a good thing You Own Ford Stock because You're gonna need the Money the 2015 Mustang and F-150 are going to make You to Keep that Challenger on the road too.
As for Your Comment about the Headlights on the 2015 Mustang:
So You go right ahead and buy Yourself that Challenger. I'm sure the owners of those Girly looking 2015 Mustangs will Happily Show You Their Tail Light as they Drive Circles around that Dodge Tank of Yours.

"2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Road Test & Review: Engine & Fuel Economy
"For 2013, Challenger’s 6.4 HEMI dispenses 470 horsepower and 470 ft.-lbs. of torque, while also flaunting the potential for 23 mpg on the highway (when driven conservatively). In our testing, the 392 hit sixty in just under four seconds, ran the quarter in just over 12 seconds, and we saw a top speed of 167 (in our automatic transmission equipped 392) before we ran out of room. And yes, the Challenger was still pulling strong, giving us every reason to trust Chrysler’s top speed claim of 182 with the standard six-speed manual and 175 with the optional five-speed automatic.
Chrysler’s Fuel Saver Technology allows the engine to operate on four cylinders in steady state cruising on the Interstate, or use the power of all eight cylinders when needed—say to blow the doors off an errant interloper. With all of its performance potential, the 392 is rated by the EPA at 14-mpg in the city and a surprising 23-mpg on the highway, regardless of whether you opt for the manual or the automatic transmission."

I like the design of the Challenger, but if you're going to keep it 'iconic' (read: old) then please replace the CD player & iPhone integration with an 8-track player.

Was finally able to view the new Mustang in the flesh . . . I dig it even more, but it looks like it has grown (understanding the proportions/specs.) I was a little surprised how big it looks. Looking forward to driving one.
You've been hanging out with that little '03 Mach 1 too long
Any other impressions?
I wasn't in love with it nor did I hate it when I first saw the pics. I liked the rear and the rest wasn't bad. Got to see it a week or two ago in Chicago. I personally love the rear but something just looked off about the front. It seems too rounded. The way the hood dives up front and the whole front comes to sort of a bubble. It doesn't go as well with the lines and shape left over from the current gen. From the sides to me it looks like the current S197 with a mismatched front end. As negative as this all sounds though I like it overall but something just looks off to me in person. Maybe it will continue growing on me.
No other real impressions . . . I like it. The nose doesn't look as high in person, proportions are great, and FMC did a great job, in my opinion.

Saw the race red car here in Dallas and I don't love the new car in that red. I love race red too but I feel it just wasn't great. I do love the rear, the front isn't bad and overall looks great.
Saw the F-150 in Guard and LOVED the color and will be a great color. Can't wait to see the car again and drive one.
Side note: don't harsh on the guys wanting a Challenger. A true enthusiast would keep open eyes to all autos.
