1) I bet nothing is done to the '13 especially given how few '12's they are producing due to Japan / 5.0's to f-series, etc.
2) The look of the '10+ has really grown on me (of course I have a '12 now). I really like the curve in the side fender (b-pillar). I drive past a '67 on the street every day and I 'get' what there were trying to do with the curve in the side profile.
3) I like the little bit of grey in the back (is this what y'all are calling the diaper?) ... it's going to wear much better and I think it gives the back a visually thinner look.
4) I did add a color matched GT500 spoiler pretty quickly as I thought the factory one was WAY too thin. Have you all seen it with spoiler delete? It's pretty nice

Little late to the game there boss. We've already seen spy shots and know a refresh is coming, but don't know when.

Considering the '10 showed up at LA, my guess is the '13 shows up there too. If not, Detroit for sure.

I moved from an 05 to a 2011 and one of the reasons was the "hips" - without those, the 05-09 just looks boring from the doors back, IMO. I only wish they would have tapered the hips down from the wheel arch to the tailights a bit...

I respect that you don't like the design of the rear of the current mustangs however I love the look. Please talk all you want about what you want to see but enough of the negative comments relating to past or current mustangs.

I bought a 99 then a 2012 for a reason. I didn't personally like the generation in between however I'm not going to rant on why I didn't because I respect those who own and lover their cars.

Shows how important good front and rear design is as both the Camaro and Challenger have horrid middle bits. Ironically the Mustang looks best between the front and rear.

Anyone watch South Beach Tow on Tru TV? It was funny. Some guy called for a tow of a Yellow 2010 Camaro that was in a parking spot. He told the girl you can not miss it because it so ****ing ugly. It was great.

just relooking at that- I really like it, BUT lifting over to load the trunk would probably kill the idea... one of those form-follows-function things...splitting the lamps to keep the look with less liftover would make for 4 parts instead of two, extra harness for the trunklid...$ or even cents would probably kill it...funny we see a extra 20 - 50 bucks are car as something 'cheap', but not the bean counters- it adds up when you are selling thousands of them.
however, with a clean-sheet design, they could widen the trunklid drop all the way across and still do it at lower cost...guess we'll have to wait and see.
I would like the bottom blacked out, I painted mine when it was a couple months old- makes the car appear to sit higher-bad- but slims the huge bumper...
I just hope next time its tucked in a bit, rather than flush or sticking out...a lot of the 'diffuser' rearends are tucked up under more, and I really think its a great look.

also on my wishlist:
1) 69/70-ish quarter windows and the round emblems on the roof... if not, at
least SHR type quarter window/louvers.
2) optional dual rear antennas...always thought those were cool, something
about symmetry,even if useless
3) 69-ish flared trunklid...the 'integrated' spoiler is a lot more sleek than most
4) full round fogs...sorry but the flat topped fogs seemed to me to be copying
challenger (camaro did it too...)
mustang dont need to copy others- it had plenty of great heritage to
pull ideas from.

I was changing channels last night and paused on Thelma & Louise to see the Thunderbird. I forgot they had tail lights like that.

a buddy had a 65 tbird...the sequentials actually had a small motor/rotary switch for sequencing, could actually hear it running when the turn signals came on - some things about technology are all good

Cool! And here I always thought the Cougar had them first.

The 'bird, then the Cougar, then the Shelby. Now the Mustang. Not sure of any others.

the 66 charger was #2... my mom had one new, was a cool car, even in a kinda ugly way. been hooked on sequentials since i was a few years old

the charger was neat- buckets/console front/rear, everything folded flat, the filler under the window folded into the trunk- we used to go camping in it. ok, back to mustang stuff
