Ummmmmm Actually that is My Artwork.... Notice the Shawn 09 under the Original Artist's signature? It was a concept drawing for the 2010 that I modified to smooth it out and clean it up. The front fenders and Rear "Hips" were my main focus as originally the hips came into the door and didn't look right and messed with the proportions.

No Problem, LOL Honestly I had to look to see if it was mine or not, it seems like so long ago that I posted it. I'm just glad to see it's still floating around 3 years later. Here's a Quick Sketch I did for the 2014 when the 2010's came out.

That looks awesome!!! I'd like to see the tail lights be more concave like the 67 coupes and fastbacks!

Why are they saving the rear diffuser for the SE ponies? They have to get rid of the lumpy black plastic that's on the '10+...

I'm noticing a bit of DBx influence there.

Very interesting! I see a Mustang with some Kinetic design themes like the new Focus (large openings on lower corners of the front bumper). Let the Camaro comparisons begin.

I like that! Idk about that side scoop. I'd rather they be toward the rear rather than the front

Yeah, it looks like the Kinetic bastard child of a Mustang and a Corvette.

The classic scoop is joke. It never did anything even the original Shelbys didn't need a duct to the rear brakes. The rear facing scoop is node to mid engined cars Mustangs aren't mid or rear engined if you haven't noticed. On the other hand they have had huge problems getting the air out from under the hood and the ducts on the front fenders draw hot air out from under the engine compartment.

Nope, I had never noticed. Thanks for pointing that out.

Out of the many magazine articles I've read and the thousand of posts I've read on this forum, that's the first time I've ever read that the Mustang has "huge problems" or any problems with shedding hot air from under the hood. I agree that we don't need big jutting fake scoops ahead of the rear wheels, but having creases in the sheet metal that hint at it are part of the Mustang legacy. That running pony emblem doesn't provide any functionality either but most of us would darn well miss it if it were gone.

I don't think anybody was talking about functionality. Just styling preferences...

Yea I prefer the classic scoop regardless of functionality. It's classic mustang. I really don't like to see an 99-04 mustang without the side or hoodscoops. Looks to bland to me. But now if they went and put brake cooling ducts or just made them for some areo improvement then +1. Something the size of the SN95 or rad but smaller with 450HP handling like a Boss and the interior quality of a 2010+ and it'll be sweet.

If you're looking for a Cormarostang, sure... Otherwise... it's great graphics work, nothing more, nothing less. I see Corvette behind-the-wheel-well-scoops along with a Camaro window/roofline, and a possibility of a Mustang front end. Nothing solid. And nothing that speaks the Mustang design language exclusively or fluently. A cool design, yes. A Mustang design, no.
