2015 Photoshop/Rendering Thread
Ever since the 5th gen. came out I always thought that ford should do something based off the 1970 model. Since it's always been my favorite, I drew this 5 years ago when i was 15 or so, just started on a new drawing with the same body style. Parts of it were never finished, like the grille. I used to get excited about how things would look when they were finished and rush to get them done and mess everything up. What do you guys think?

Bad quality photo.

Consider how a 60's DB5 evolved into the current DBS. That's the evolution I'd like to see effect the overall mustang proportions. Still a long nosed, short deck 2+2 fastback with heritage styling clues and modern aerodynamics and lowered stance.
alot of these drawings and renderings seem to have the aston lines in common. not complaining because it is a sexy car however that body style has been around for so long it will eventually become dated. however if it does mimic it i will happily put it in the garage next to my vantage
As crazy as that thing looks it's not all bad. Fix the rear quarter so it looks more Mustang, Fix the the Greenhouse. Soften the up part of the front grill and redesign the low part and you might be onto something. Oh and loose the Purple. that is totally Dodge.

Hey guys, I recently got an article published featuring Doug Schramm's illustrations. Here is the link. The editors took out the rear view illustration for some reason.

While some argue that technically the Barracuda was the first (being released a few weeks earlier), it's generally accepted that the Mustang is the original "pony car" (hence the term). Otherwise we'd be calling them "fishy cars" or somesuch...
I have also heard people say the Studebaker Hawk series were proto-"pony cars" of sorts, but I'd put them more alongside the Thunderbirds and Corvettes of the time.

Plus, the lines of the car make it much smaller looking. I vote for this one!
This would be nice. It would incorporate fords' new corporate grill, just need some touching up in spots to make more mustang.
