I agree 100%. It doesn't have to be (and shouldn't be) some big plastic scoop that sticks way out, but there ought to be some bevel or crease in the sheet metal to remind you of the car's lineage.

If the c-scoop is not present, that's evidence to me that the design team didn't care about the Mustang.

I don't really care that much if it has a "C-scoop." The Mustangs ran for about 14 years without "C-scoops."

and even without that cue, I think they'll make it easily recognizable as a stang.

I'll hold judgement until I see the car. If done right can get by without some cues. Just don't want bland shapeless sheet metal

This grey rendering is almost perfect, just give me a line rear of the front wheel to get a reverse C from the current and retro Mustangs. I could dig that.

We're desperate, man! Desperate! Gotta get your fix any way you can. I hear there is a guy in downtown Detroit that will give you a rendering for 5 bucks a pop! But that's just to get you hooked, man. After that it'll be a 100, then a 1,000! Soon you'll be at automobiles anonymous, telling how you lost your job and family because Ford wouldn't tell you what the next Stang looked like. It's a sad way to go.

A wheel lol. Forget the wheel. They'll probably show us another Brembo wheel. I want to see some body! Curves baby

I'll take what I can get, Pete

Reckon this thread will get a million views before we see the car for real? We only need just over 200,000 more...........so I should be able to help achieve half of those

If it were a render based on something he'd seen, or had described to him by a first-hand witness, I'd understand. But as it is, it's just another guess.

You could show 10 people the real deal...have 10 people render it, and they'd all look different.

I'd just wait.

I still wanna see a 2nd gen Probe w/ FR configuration.

Better yet, make it a modern interpretation of the Pantera, like the GR1 w/ FR config. They'd sell a billion of them!

Pretty much. Chazcron was a unique phenomenon.
