I think the V6 MKZ's days are numbered. Now that the 2.3 has made its debut in the MKC, I assume the MKZ's refresh in 1-2 years will drop the V6 and add the 2.3 to be too dog - then the Fusion will gain a 2.3 ST model available with a MT.

I was wondering, when Ford says they used the bmw M3 and porsche 911 for becnhmarking the new stang, which 911 we're they referring too?
So I checked porsche, and boom:
http://www.porsche.com/usa/models/911/911-turbo/
May have been common knowledge to most, but i didnt know.
Didn't expect them to try to go against the turbo.. it has like 100 more hp, and is pretty much better in every way possible lol

Infact, FWD to compete with GTI and Mazda 3 SPEED ( as we have now )
AND 4WD to go after the rally segment.
Talk about Market coverage.

An awd fusion with the 2.3 would be a poor fit for the rally market IMO. It's too big, front wheel based awd system, no manual. Id love to see a focus RS with awd and the 2.3 though. That would be a great car.
