Sync/Phone/USB issue?
Sync/Phone/USB issue?
I am not sure what happened yesterday, but I plugged in my memory stick to listen to music, and when I removed it the sync with my cell phone disappeared on the radio face. I have tried to use the phone, but nothing.
I am going to do a master reset today, and start over with the phone, but I was curious if anyone had a similar problem and if it could be related to the USB port use.
I would hate to have to go through this every time I use the USB port.

If the memory stick continues to give trouble, try a different memory stick, preferably a brand-name.
If that doesn't help, you might consider an iPhone if you don't already have one. The Sync pairs with the iPhone like they were made for each other. I don't ever have to even touch the iPhone. - I just get in the car and the stereo pairs via bluetooth with the phone automatically, then I can play/pause music using the stereo controls, or take and make phone calls using just the steering wheel controls, again without ever touching the phone or even taking it out of my pants pocket. The iPhone is a very high-quality device which is trouble-free and works like it is supposed to. If you don't have one I highly recommend it.
Hope this helps!

I'm not able to use the radio controls with my iPhone via blue tooth for the music. I can use the controls for answering ending and dialing calls. Am I doing something wrong? My iPhone and iPod work great with music and stereo controls when sync is USB.
I had kinda sorta the same problem, it's in this thread

So Pull fuse 3? I'll give it a shot. Will my iPhone be able to be controlled via Bluetooth as well? Meaning I can change the music via radio buttons rather then my phone or is that just how it works?
