My cloth top is getting rub marks..... Is this normal?

I have a 2013 GT/CS that only has 2500 miles. There are a couple rub marks on the cloth top from being down and the ends of the bows chafing on the inside of the top material and I am concerned that over time it will wear right through.... Does anyone else have these marks? Should I be concerned?

Convertible tops are "wear items" and typically only last about 6-7 years. Folding the top up and down will leave rub marks.

Under warranty? Take it in and have it looked at.

Mine is doing the same thing. The rub marks are above the doors and are in the shape of an X. I was thinking of showing the dealer when I get a chance.

This issue has been around since the cloth top was an option in '07. I had mine replaced in '10 for the same issue under warranty and was told the top was redesigned for '10 (which was the same one installed on my car). But even with minimal mileage as I probably have 4K on the new top, the same wear marks are showing up (creases right above the rear 1/4 window).

The vinyl top on my V6 looks like new after two years and 22K miles. Is the V6 vinyl possibly more durable despite being (presumably) cheaper than the GT cloth?
