Got my new "Flip Key" set up tonight
Madscottsman I have that same key it is he Mazda style key. One thing you need to keep an eye on is the set screws that hold the blade in. They tend to loosen over time and the blade will start to wobble in the slot ad could eventually break. I broke the one for my 02. On my new one I used some blue Locktite and so far everything is still tight.
I got mine cut at Ford Dealer this afternoon. The parts guy was leery, saying it was too long. I had him cut it anyway and it turns out he was right. If I push the key in all the way and then pull it out to just the right spot it will start the car. It is very difficult to find the sweet spot. Anyone else have this problem?

Look what (finally) arrived!!!
So guess what finally arrived in the mail today:

Yes, the stem is longer on the Flip Key vs. the OEM key:

Neither Home Depot or Lowes would cut it for me - they both said they didn't have the correct cartridge for their key cutting machine. I'm going to a pro locksmith tomorrow and see what he can do.

My new Flip Key works PERFECTLY!!!
Ok, gang, here's the final skinny - This key works PERFECTLY in my 2014 GT Premium. Total cost: $24.89. Shipping was a tad slow, but for the price....
Here's what I did from start to finish:
1) I programmed my remote to the car. This took me two tries. The first time, I had the driver's door closed and it didn't work. Second time, I had the driver's door open, and it worked like a charm! Directions are HERE.
2) Took the key to a locksmith (NOT Home Depot or Lowes - both of mine said they couldn't do it). He had the old-fashioned dual-key grinder thing, put in my factory key, my new flip key, and in about 30 seconds, had it cut perfectly. He took it out to my car, tested in the door, and even offered to program it for me (I have directions, did it myself). Cost: $15 even.
3) I then programmed the new key in his parking lot using the two-key method found HERE. It took all of 30 seconds.
That's it! I now have my very own Flip Key for my 2014 Mustang GT, complete with GT logo!!!
WOOHOO!!!

Add me to the club. Cost only $25, and the dealer ended up cutting the key for free.

I remember someone saying they have to find the "sweet spot" to get the key to work. Mine is like that when i have the buttons facing me. But if i just flip it around, it works just fine.

I'm also set up with a new flip key. Easy to setup. Good mod for less that 25 dollars! No more holes in the pockets of my pants... or unwanted piercings in me :-)
