Finally have working A/C and navigation.

Also, discovered you do not need the newly priced gps splitter. It used to be $30, now it's $160. I found that as long as you don't mind having two antennas (one on the truck and one under the dash, out of sight) you can use your existing cable for your satellite radio and then buy the antenna that 4dtech.com has. I found the same one on eBay for $13.

Like this? Yeah swapping the body harness is fun. I hope I can finish it up today...

I still have my paddles and keyless ignition to do. I don't think I'll be done today. I will have to borrow a car for work on Monday ...

Jim010, are you adding paddle shifters? What paddles and keyless are you adding? Are you doing a write up on it? I have wanted to do this same addition.

I am indeed doing paddles and keyless.

The paddles are easy, but it is taking me some time to figure out the keyless.

I have been taking pics and will do a write up on both.

For the paddles, I used Mercedes AMG paddles and a control module made by LXCS. You can check the thread I have in the general 2010-2014 section.

I am using the EasyGo keyless system, but am using the idatalink instead of the keybox, and that is taking me some time to figure out.

GT227, I am glad that everything works for you now. I am sorry that you had such issues to deal with, but at least you have it now.

I have my new harness in now and the dualzone, and the dash is back in. Just redoing some of my custom wiring for pony lights, side mirror defrost and the select shift. I will then tackle the final 2 mods. Hoping to have my car running again by Friday.

Lexiion, since your car is also gutted, are you also putting in dualzone? I know that is the last thing to do, but just curious. You are also putting in the adjustable vie the console struts/shocks? What is involved in that?

I am really torn on the dual zone. The dash is still out, so an easy swap. However another $325 to the build. I don't really need it. And of course while having everything apart, i figured i need some other parts, too. Like a gas pedal, ABS sensors, new stop light switch etc. So $$ are adding up.

The Shocks/Struts will be like the OE solution. The body harness has the connectors for the shocks, the VDM (Vehicle Dynamics Module) and i added the ride control switch to the dash. The light harness has the connectors for the Struts. As the PCM (MWJ3) understands the signals for changing the ride mode, it will be a flip of a button to get from normal to sport and back. Ecostang, who also has a 2014GT500 took me for a ride in his vehicle and i fell in love with the electronic adjustable dampers. So that one has priority over the dual zone. As I am still waiting for parts in order to put the dash back in, I still might decide on the dual zone.

It is only the 13/14 GT500 that is programmed for it, or all 13/14 PCM programs are capable of it?

Honestly I don't know. The cluster get's that information from HS-CAN, the VDM is only connected to HS-CAN (see pictures) but the switch on the dash goes into the PCM (see diagram).

Yeah, I knew about the wiring, but wondered about the PCM. I am assuming that it needs to be flashed to that of a Shelby to work, but who knows?

Matt should be able to find out. Or build a little black box that takes the Ride Control Values and translates them into HS-CAN commands for the VDM...

I forget where in the previous pages, but someone mentioned that sync has been slower to react after the swap. I too noticed that it takes longer for the woman to awaken when pushing the voice button or when I advance to the next song....not a big deal though.

I have not noticed Sync being slower myself.

My interior is back together (mostly). My paddle shifters are in and they are awesome.

Dual zone works, and my speakers and rear camera work again.

I promise to solder all my connections in the future to avoid doing a harness swap!

Looking to find out why the only selections that work are floor and window vents......dash vents do not operate when selected? Also, steering wheel controls are inop after the swap

All functions for the climate should work except dual zone.

As for the steering wheel controls, which ones don't work? The only one I can think of that wouldn't work (if you didn't change the right side switches) is phone on the right side. But they should also work.
