The one on the bottom looks pretty similar to the ones used at the clock spring. But i guess that will be trial and error.

I am in the middle of putting together a bunch of sets so people can just plug and play. The pins are a pain in the a$$ to locate. I found them in a junk yard and it took forever. I have 2 sets ready to go. A set consists of 4 wires with pins ready to install. You'll get two long wires with pins on the ends that tap into the cluster harness and run them to the clockspring (slot 3 and 7). The other two will go inside of the steering wheel side of the clockspring (slots 6 and 12). Then run those to the switch (slots 2 and 3 after you move the original pin on slot 2 to slot 1). I'll pm you the price.

BTW, the wire are very thin like 22 gauge so when you by anything to help you with the tap, make sure it's for 18-22 gauge. I just used in line wire splitters and covered the tap with liquid electric tape (easy to use and fast drying).

The 2 for inside the steering wheel. I still need to shield them. But they are ready.

Mine took 2 weeks.... O_O

Separate note. Yes the track key is possible. There was someone here that was going to work with me on doing it with their vehicle. However, they disappeared and I lost the contact info..... :/

Did you ever test the Launch Control? That should work now, right?

I am willing to work on this as well. Just tell me what you need me to get.

I wonder if flashing the PCM to 2014 instead of 2013 will allow us to just use the track key from Ford as is?

That would be nice. Shouldn't that be easy to try out?

I can't as I would lose the tune that I have to make the car run as a 2012. I would need to do that all over again.

But yes, it should be simple enough to flash to 2014. But it would be expensive to buy the track key and everything from Ford on the hopes that it would work.

Plus you need to supply Ford with your VIN - that would raise eybrows. And even if it did work, the tuning would be for a 2014 5.0, not a 2012.

True... so basically you need two new tunes... one to go back down to the 2012 calibration and another one to ensure the track key tune runs properly on a 2012 engine...

The car started up while i was trying to install your old abs module, but it was running to lean and I didn't want to drive it. For now I'm back to 2011 PCM so I can drive the car, but once the abs module shows up I'll re-flash to DR3A-AJD. Hopefully Matt can help me out with the calibration so my car runs right. I've yet to have a problem flashing the PCM or any module. Seems pretty straight forward now. I even change the VIN on the PCM to see if I could get raid of the incompatible software issue, but no dice.

Can't you just download your "old" tune into the flashed PCM? Or is it giving you an error?

For sure. Just let me know what you need. (I forget)

It may not work as the PCM is a different pn/catch code.

Yeah, the old tune won't work with the 2014 PCM calibration, no to mention the PCM thinks I have a 5.8 engine, with different cams and I really have the 5.4. I have a 2011 GT500 and want to flash it to a 2014 GT500 PCM.

Matt, I was hopping to have you write a calibration file for the engine. I'm not sure what information you need, but my cars short trim 1 and 2 was at 29% at idle, so I'm lean like crazy. I also make 17.5 lbs of boost with my mods, where the stock 2013 GT500 only make 15 lbs. I'd make more boost, but my headers rob me of 1 to 2 lbs. I know I can supply the same amount of few because I have the 2013 injectors and a Kenny Bell Boost a pump as well.

Thanks,

You guys are so **** awesome!

Matt is telling me that in order to make LC work, he needs hands on time with a car. Depending on his time requirements, I suggested maybe I can bring him out to Vegas for a weekend and let him test what he needs on my car. Would anyone be interested in maybe pooling some money together to offset a little of that cost since we all would benefit from it as long as Matt is willing/able to do it?

No pressure on you or anything Matt.

Time for a CAM upgrade
Wouldn't it be easier to ask Lund to replicate your current tune onto the new strategy/catch code?
