My '11 with 35% - shop messed up and switched to 20% after this pic

 

Have any of you tinted the glass roof?

The glass roof is factory tinted, blocking out more than 95% UV rays. Looks very dark from topside already (quite hard to see in). That, plus the retractable shade - and I think it would be a waste of $ (and possibly look worse).

I love it like it is (my very favorite option).

 

Thinking about getting mine done today. 25% ceramic. I was quoted $250. Seems like a decent price.

 

What exactly does the ceramic do? Im wanting to get mine done also, i do not even know the legal limit in tx as i just moved here lol but im looking to only tint these windows once so id like to have quality tint that blocks as much heat and uv rays as possible. You know how it is down here! Ha

 

Ceramic keeps out heat better than any other tint. I also plan on getting Cermaic tint. I just have the regular tint 17% made by Viper. I had it installed at a place called Alta Mere and the Viper tint had a lifetime warranty.

 

I had the ceramic tint installed last week. It does avoid job keeping my black leather from becoming scalding hot. I saw somewhere that ceramic will keep the inside around 30 degrees cooler
