Window Covers and PA
I recently bought a pair of MMD rear quarter window covers...

And now I'm afraid to install them, having been told they might be illegal in Pennsylvania. Anyone know?

I've never heard of them being illegal. I'm not even sure how they could be. I had some on my car for 10 months before I took them off and never had an issue and I'm in PA.

If you don't want to risk it, you can always give your local police station a call and see what they think. I'd image you won't run into any issues. The Police have much bigger things to worry about that than a set of rear window louvers. There's thousands of people running these!
Hope this helps.

It's not regular louver that I'm worried about. It's the solid (flat) covers. Apparently there's this...
TITLE 75 Section 4524 (e)(1) of the Pennsylvania Common Statutes:
(1) No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any sun screening device or other material which does not permit a person to see or view the inside of the vehicle through the windshield, side wing or side window of the vehicle.
