Need advice on springs

I am about to get springs, and shock/struts and Im kind of torn. I want to go with something lower than 1 inch, but I'm not sure what springs would give good enough drop with my tire size. I have 295-35-20 in the rear and 255-35-20 in front and I was thinking that a 1.5 drop in the rear would be perfect. I might go with steeda ultra lights and either steeda shocks and struts or koni srt. I looked at frpp k springs but it says they drop 1.5 in front and rear, which would leave the front looking higher than the rear. Opinions and pics welcome.

Have you checked to see if a drop that low will require you to relocate the swaybar and LCA?

You would be happy w/ Steeda Ultralights, Eibach Pro Kit, or BMR springs. The K springs lower it the same all the way around so the back will stay higher than the front.

Here is another site with some great pictures of a consumer's car that we recently put the ultra lites on.

http://www.stangsofsouthflorida.com/...ghlight=Steeda

If you like what you see then PM and I can start putting together a forum discount/package deal for what you are looking for.

Let me know.

Best Regards,

TJ

I like the spring rate of the sports better, but it looks like the ultra lites lower just a bit more due to the softer spring rate. Kinds torn between the two.

Is this your daily driver? Do you track it?

If it's a daily driver and you aren't tracking it, I would definitely go with the Ultralites. They have a slightly softer front spring rate (5lbs less) and are about the same drop amount. And they're ~$10 less.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance with those.

My friend has the h&r race springs, Koni str.t shocks and struts. Also, you will need an adjustable panhard bar and lca relocation brackets.

I'm very happy with my Koni's with Steeda sports. I have 19" wheels for reference. This is my dd as well.

Looks good, this is the way I am thinking of going. Did you have to change anything else to get it aligned with in factory specs?
