Someone recently posted on my build thread that computer mod is now avail to do just that.
Ford Performance told me a couple weeks ago performance pak for sure avail in october, finally a set date. ( but have heard that for nearly 6 yrs now)

I'm looking at the microsquirt, I used something else previously.
Just need something that can read boost and rpm and create a fuel map, easy peasy. The hardest part is the factory ECU is WB closed loop, even at WOT it's closed loop. The factory ECU see's the additional fueling in LTFT and starts pulling fuel after awhile. Recently tuners have been able to to make it go open loop at WOT to stop this. E85 spraying in the intake tract is also a great way to cool off IAT...

From the pictures I have seen you need to modify the PS valve cover to be able to mount the second HPFP. I'm not sure if there is something special about the cam that runs it. Checking that out would be as easy as popping your valve covers and checking. The DS cam already runs the HPFP. If the PS is the same you're in business.
Roush makes their own valve cover for the PS. Looks like a billet CNC job from the pics. No reason you can't mod the stock plastic one though. All you would be doing is adding a mount.

Just FYI I tracked down the guy in charge of the Roush setup, the injectors are $1500 each and you have to do custom cams with a DI pump lobe.
I did a ton of research in trying to do that as well, it's not cost effective for a small run or a one off.
I've spent 2+ years trying to figure a way for the factory DI setup to have enough flow for 1K HP, it can't happen. You know this because the GT and supposedly the new Raptor are gong to both PFI/DI like my Flex had.

About the transmission swap from auto to standard. I read more about it, I need a wiring harness for manual trans and a ecu for manual to make it work. That's what I'm getting with the ecoboost control pack, ecu and a wiring harness for a manual. Question is will the ecoboost wiring harness include the clutch pedal sensor hookups? I also read that a bypass harness is needed for the automatic shifter position sensor, probably a non-issue with the ecoboost control pack.

Thanks, I actually read your entire build thread a couple months ago. It's soooo long! I was wondering when you would be getting back to work on it, great to hear. A truly ambitious project, much more involved than the mustang. It will be impressive when you pull it off, not to discount what you accomplished already. Welcome and feel free to drop in a link to your build thread, I'm sure there's some people here that might like to cruise it.

I pressure tested the manifold today, had 2 small leaks that will need to be fixed. No big deal, but I'm glad I tested it. I used soapy water and 50 psi to test it.
I've been busy lately so not much progress on the car to report. However I did order a 3.73 2012 mustang rear end with 30k miles, hard to find them with factory 3.73s that aren't really expensive. I also ordered borla 3" mid pipes (over axles) and 3" x pipe, all that should arrive this week. I'll probably have custom pieces made to attach the x pipe to the exhaust manifolds, there will be a couple 3" cats installed in these custom pieces.

The partsfarm on eBay, I paid $700 for it where most salvage lots with factory 3.73 rear end are asking $1k-$1,300. I had 3.73 gears put in my Shelby last year and paid $1,100 for the work and gears......to pay $700 for an entire rear end with the right gears seems free.
I have bought nearly all of the parts for this car on eBay, engine, trans, intercoolers, exhaust, etc., lots of gt500 take-off parts from Shelby America on eBay.

Texas mile is legit for sure, I live in CO now but spent nearly my whole life in Texas. What's cool is that here in CO they have have hill climbs on curvy mountain roads you can pay to run. Recently I took the my Shelby to the central city hill climb, was a blast.

I didn't get anything done this weekend, I was at the street outlaws event in Oklahoma. It was a 10 hr drive and totally worth it, all the guys were incredibly nice and easy to talk to. We had a sweet spot reserved right beside the finish line.

Got the 3" exhaust today, this should bolt up to my gt500 quad tips. I'll need a custom piece with cats installed to connect the x pipe to the ecoboost manifolds.
