My Car, MORGAN, is running awesome on the 93 octane tune and Shell V-Power 93 octane fuel. BTW, Why am I shown as a V6 member?

900 rpm

This is the biggest issue that I had with my Steeda tune. MY cold start idle is 1500rpm. It slows after about 20 seconds but by that time all of our neighbours are awake! We usually start the car with the garage closed to limit the noise.
TJ tried to get me some help but it seems that Matt is the only person that deals with the tunes. He doesn't even work in the same building as the tuners so nobody was ever understanding the issue. I have seen numerous articles about people toning down the cold start idle but Steeda doesn't know how to do it.

We have helped others with this concern through the same support we provided you.

We wrote you a tune that we have written hundreds of times (similar set-up to your car) and they have worked without issue.
For whatever reason, your car would not take the tune without the idle issue.
There may have be something within the car that we can’t “tune out” & identify.
The tune is as complete as we can make it.
There have been several data logs done and still could not resolve the issue.
James is one of the best in the industry & he could not figure it out:

Reliability while providing tremendous gains are at the core of our tuning values.

Gary, like previously mentioned, we could not figure it out with your car.
You may want to p.m. them just in case they have a tuner that can resolve it.
Not trying to dismiss this but other than a refund, there is nothing more we can do.

Mines fine at 900rpm, then again, I don't have any close neighbors to worry about.

To be honest the first 87 tune installed made my car smell like burning oil and it acted like it was going to make the engine explode. I emailed Matt and got that tune resent. Well I installed it again and the shifting was very jerky and the lag was terrible. I was told to data log which wasn't to hard to do but you have to do a. Lot just to get to that point. Matt never responded back only TJ on here and I thought that was ridiculous but at least I had someone to relay something to them. I went ahead and installed the 93 tune and this one is a whole lot better. The shifting not as jerky and not much lag. I am dissapointed in the service I'm getting from steeda themselves but TJ is doing the best he can. I did the data log on thanksgiving and still haven't heard anything back about it. I may never will smdh

I have run both the 87 and 93 octane tunes with the Steeda CAI without issue. They both run good, with the 93 tune pulling harder. I have a manual transmission car, so there is no shifting problems. Are you running the CAI or just the tunes?
